| This is a great tour and an excellent way to start a Chicago trip. Wicker Park and Bucktown are a "Real" neighborhood, not like Navy Pier or Michigan Avenue. We wanted to see local living. In other words, eating at the TGI Friday's in Chicago is pretty much the same as eating at the one in Amarillo. My nephews (ages 13 & 15) vetoed any "museums", but I wanted them to get something more than shopping out of their first trip to Chicago. As suburbanites, we wanted to show them what it would be like to live in Chicago proper. This tour does that and gives you recommendations for about 20 great local spots. Take the tour at the begining of your trip and you will have meal options for the rest of the time. The food on the tour was nice. The boys are a little picky and brushed off some of the toppings, but each had a favorite item. The guides were very knowledgable and informative about the history of Bucktown and Wicker Park. They walked us through the rise and fall of the area. The construction/architecture, social ebb and flow, artists input..... just a fascinating walking history lesson with snacks! We recommended it to all our friends in Chicago and the family that couldn't make it. We only stopped at six places, but the descriptions of the local places had me eager to come back for a sit down meal. My family is not "foodies", but we still loved it. And if you are a foodie, I know you will. | ||||||

| What a great way to see Chicago! It's more than a food tour. It's a Chicago experience that is unlike any other I have had - and we visit Chicago frequently! The tastings were great, but I also really enjoyed seeing the neighborhoods and hearing stories about the different places we visited. Rebecca, our tour guide, was full of information. I made sure to wear walking shoes and I brought a bottle of water, both of which came in handy. My favorites were the pizza, the spice shop, the oil shop, and the fudge shop. I even told my husband I'd go on it again another time so he could go. Definitely recommended! | ||||||

| We had a great time even though it downpoured most of the time. Our tour guild, Katie, was fantastic. The stops were very interesting and we would have enjoyed spending more time at each and probably will go back to most and do so. Our group seemed to especially enjoy the Oil and Vinegar Store. I agree with them but also really liked several of the other stops as well. My wife and I greatly enjoyed the experience and will take the new "Bucktown" tour soon. We are telling our friends and family about the tours also. Thanks, Michigan Friends | ||||||

| We were visiting from Texas on a day that rain fell a record 12 inches in Chicago! None the less, we puddle ducked through on our neighborhood tour and had a great time. Emily was a fun and informative guide. I would recommend the tour to others in a snap! | ||||||

| Nikki was a fantastic tour guide, pointing out all the interesting architecture on the walk, answering questions, and giving insight into the Chicago food scene. We never felt rushed, even though I'm sure we were on a schedule. She maintained her enthusiasm, even as the rain continued to pick up and everyone got soaked. We had a great time and would consider one of these tours again when we are in Chicago. | ||||||

| The majority of the three and a half hour tour is spent walking through he Gold Coast, Old Town and Lincoln Park. Frequent stops for short stories, historical perspective and, of course, tasting make the journey less a workout and more a stroll. However, at the end of the tour you will know that you walked a long way. The selection of places to stop and taste allows for every type of food preference, as well as, a few pleasant surprises. I plan to take this tour again in the future. It's that much fun. | ||||||

| Me and friends joined the Food Planet Tasting, Segway and Wendella boat tours. Although these tours are totally different in nature, and they are all fine tours respectively, I think Food Planet Tasting tour is the best value of all. One star is deducted because the our tour group was quite big in size and we had a little difficulty squeezing into a few places that we visit. | ||||||

| I liked the tour but there was A LOT of walking involved. I know i was warend about that beforehand, but really there was a lot of walking. Also i felt that we were rushed to finish the slice of pizza we got at the start. The places were were taken to were nice and i enjoyed seeing another part of Chicago. | ||||||
