Perfect amount of time and appropriate amount of food. The guide was great and she had a substantial amount of knowledge regarding the architecture in the neighborhoods.

The Near North Food Tasting and Cultural Walking Tour combines tasty foods with tasty tidbits of Chicago history and trivia. The well-paced tour is an interesting way to see part of the city.

Fantastic opportunity to taste Chicago

We went to Chicago for Lollapalooza and wanted a chance to meet the city. This is a great opportunity to know Old Town Chicago. The tour shows fantastic flavors, history, and insightful highlights. The food is great, and rich of history. The best way to know a city is walking on it, and if you can grab a bite on the way even better. Guides are charming and knowledgable, good choice for foodies and no foodies alike

Wonderful Tour of China Town

This is a really great tour that you do not want to miss. Jess our guide took us to some great restaurants and filled us in on the local history and even some Chinese culture. We had so much fun, the next time we are in Chicago, we would take another tour from this group.

While we enjoyed everything on our vacation to Chicago, we both agreed that the walking/food tasting tour was our favorite. Well paced and the 7 venues visited complimented each other well.

The 1st tour to take of all 3
Wed, Aug 1, 12   12:00 PM brianvershay Male 50-59 Local Family With Children
We had a mix of all ages, a wonderful tour guide and I really enjoyed the places we toured. I will take the other 2 tours. Piece and Hot Chocolate were my favorites and have returned to both places since. I can't remember our guide, but she said we could call her Sheila if we didn't like her. All said and done my family and I had fun with her.

FANTASTIC

The tour was very informative and interesting. It explored a lot of the history of the neighbourhoods as well as gave several "fun facts" about the food sampled, the restaurants themselves, and Chicago in general. This was a very enriching experience that helped me appreciate more of the uniqueness of Chicago and its gastronomic culture. Our tour guide, Heather, was extremely knowledgeable and personable, and she really made this tour fun. She knew some of the lesser-known facts of Chicago's history and was able to aptly incorporate pop culture, common knowledge, and personal interest into her explanations. Furthermore, her familiar rapport with the staff at the various establishments helped add a personal touch to the experience, one which greatly supported her credibility. I feel I learned a lot on this tour, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys eating delicious food!

Tour guide was great and SOME of the food was good

Heather was fun and very entertaining as our guide. I feel that the selections need to be worked on, however, if you are going to ask 45$per person...some of the food choices that you brought us to were mediocre at best. The pizza at Lou Minalti's was great - top notch and the green ice tea at the tea shop - fantastic ! It pretty much went downhill from there. The spice shop experience was nice...but we came to eat samples !! Spice up some food for us - sniffing cinnamon and tasting salts is weak and stingy no matter how you cut it. I also think that serving Perogies and Macaroons together on a styrofoam plate is saying that you are a third rate food tour and nobody is in touch with a very important aspect of eating called PRESENTATION. It's not the eateries fault...it is yours FOOD PLANET because you are the host!! You collected my hard earned money. Demand more from your eateries and regularly monitor their enthusiasm and participation. And for bringing my family of 5 people -all of them adult age, you should offer a discount !! C'mon !! The CEO or owner is a cheapskate to not accommodate a situation like that. i'm not that impressed guys sorry.

One of the highlights of our trip
Thu, Jul 26, 12   11:30 AM JeffYeargin Male 40-49 Domestic Tourist(s) Family With Children
We booked this tour because of the variety of food and the neighborhoods of the tour and we weren't disappointed. Our tour guide was fantastic-offering history of the neighborhoods and the places we ate as well as other restaurants in the area. I would suggest that the tour distribute the food stops better. We were stuffed by the 3rd restaurant and would've liked to have had more time in between before eating again!

A great time!

Our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The food was wonderful (almost too much to eat!). The info on the walking tour was very interesting. The Bucktown/Wicker Park tour had more variety in the food offerings, but this was well worth it!
