Great food tour!

This is a great tour for anyone looking to experience a variety of local eateries. The guide (Kent) was knowledgable, and engaged each member of the tour in conversation. The tour was off the beaten path, so it was nice to see an area of Chicago that isn't overidden with crowds of tourists.

We were visiting Chicago for the first time and took the tour the second day we arrived. We learned more from the tour about Chicago and the individual neighborhoods than from the two tour guides purchased before hand. We also enjoyed the foods on the tour as well as learning about various spices, oils, teas, etc. It was a lot of fun, entertaining and informative. My wife's favorite activity in Chicago (even over shopping)

My husband and I had a great time on the Near North Food & Cultural Tour! It was his first trip to Chicago and I'm glad he was able to sample some really great food. His favorite was the Tea Vendor, which is funny because before our trip neither one of us liked to drink tea. :) My favorite was the Oil Room. Who knew mixing and matching Olive Oil and Basalmic Vinegar could be so much fun! We really enjoyed it and will probably sample one of the other tours on our next visit!

Best 3 hours in Chicago

Our leadership team did the walk as an outing. Some were local, but others traveled in for the event. A great way for out-of-towners to see the city and local folks to learn, and taste. Everyone had a great time. Just enough walking and eating. I highly recommend as a corporate outing or an afternoon with friends.

Very interesting variety of shops and locations especially like the spice, tea and olive oil shops! Would like some more architecture but that is really a different tour.

Our guide, Jennifer, was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable not only about the food tastings, but the neighborhoods as well. It was a most enjoyable way to spend a few hours in Chicago and I would highly reccommend it to anyone.

We all thoroughly enjoyed the tour. It was well thought out in terms of the food that we sampled. We really enjoyed the fact that we had a chance to walk through some beautiful areas of Chicago. In many ways it is both an architecture tour and a food tour. The guide was very friendly and had a great knowledge of Chicago. For anyone who enjoys fine food in a fine city this is yout tour !

We had a wonderful time. The walk was easy and we were able to stroll along. I only wish we could have spent more time in each of the stores since they were all wonderful! LOVED the Spice place!

We had a wonderful time on this tour. We loved every single thing we ate, and found the tour a great addition to our week in Chicago. we hadn't heard of these two neighborhoods before. It was interesting to be out of the more touristed areas and into some real neighborhoods. Kent was a terrific guide--knowledgeable, fun, and clearly passionate about both food and his neighborhood. I highly recommend this tour. Great food, interesting history and architecture , and an excellent guide.
