| What a great tour! Very well organized and we had an extremely personable guide. Particularly enjoyed the presentations at the tea and spice shops. A tasty way to explore the city - more food than I'd normally eat for lunch. | ||||||

| Our guide Nikki (?sp) made each step and taste of our tour a delight. We have been to Chicago many times but typically have not gottem to see the neighborhoods from the inside. We learned a great deal about the history of the neighborhoods and had a grand time tasting our way through each. The list of vendors on our tasting tour is now in an archive we keep of places to go and we have already bought from two of those vendors. We'd both agree that learning about the Spice Merchant and Old Town Oil would alone have made the tour worthwhile, but gourmet catering, chocolates, teas, and, of course, Chicago stufed pizza were wonderful as well. | ||||||

| I highly reccommend this tour for anyone interested in Chi town neighborhoods! I booked this tour for my friend's bhirthday. We have been to Chi town numerously and always wanted to wander and browse other neighborhoods but never knew where to begin. This tour was a great tutorial. Our guide, Jennifer was terrific! Knowledgeable, courteous, engaging, and informative. We can hardly wait until next spring so that we can book the Bucktown and Wicker park tour. Everyone always thinks Chicago is just State street and Michigan Avenue. There is so much more to this diverse city. Thanks again and see you in this spring! Wendy Ossola | ||||||

| Loved seeing the architecture of Chicago neighborhoods and the tastings were fun and informative. We went back to Old Town after the tour for shopping. We would not have known about those wonderful places without the tour. | ||||||

| I really enjoyed the tour and the instructor. He did a good job keeping the tour on time and fun. I learned quite of bit of information about the city and enjoyed the food and handout regarding other restaurants in the city. I wish it started a little earlier, so that is didn't take up the better part of the day, but I would definitely recommend it. | ||||||

| The North End tour was great! Jesse is an awesome tour guide she knew the places we were going and the people that we were talking too. She added great local information about the architecture and the local history. I would recommend this trip to anyone! | ||||||

| My family and I had a GREAT time on this tour! The guide was informative, funny, and very amicable, and the food was delicious -- even the things we thought would be questionable! Who knew oil could be so tasty? I'd recommend this trip for anyone who'd like an introduction to Chicago that's a little off the beaten path. | ||||||

| This was a great tour. I rarely do tours as I normally would research places I visit and explore on my own. With this tour, even though the places visited were listed and I could have easily visited on my own, I really enjoyed the non-food parts of exploring the neighborhood and learning the history of some of the homes and buildings on the route. I would not have gotten so much out of this neighborhood if I had not taken this tour. Equally helpful was the listing of recommended restaurants that was given out with the tour. The only stop that I would recommend the tour replace is the visit and tasting at Piece Pizza. Pizza was not that good. | ||||||

| We heard about this from a friend and we started reading the reviews online. We read positive and negative reviews, but overall we were intrigued by the "Taste of Chicago" and decided to go ahead and book the tour. We met at the starting location and were met by Nikki our tour guide. We were so excited because all of the reviews that we read about Nikki were wonderful. The tour took us through 3 neighborhoods, all unique in their own way. We tasted several different kinds of foods, all were great. Surprising enough, the olive oil and vinegar tasting was our favorite! Along the way Nikki told us interesting facts about the food, buildings, and neighborhoods along the tour route. It was so interesting to learn about the city in this way. We HIGHLY recommend that you do this tour early in your visit to Chicago, that way you can go back to the neighborhoods and stores. This tour really helped us to feel comfortable in the city. We do warn that this tour is a lot of walking, but it is at a slow even pace, totally manageable. We were tired at the end, but not so much that it left a negative impact on us, we even went to the Sears Tower after the tour. We read in the reviews that you are hungry after the tour, we did not experience this in the least, we were very satisfied! Go on this tour and have fun, we did!! And try to get Nikki as your tour guide, she's the best. We do recommend checking the weather forecast before you book the tour, we did this and the day we picked was absolutely beautiful, the best of the week. | ||||||

| My husband and I started out trip to Chicago with this tour. It was the best thing we could have done! It gave us several ideas for places to go during our time in the city. The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. The tastings opened our eyes to looking at foods in a different way. I definitely recommend taking this tour!! | ||||||
