| My husband and I took this tour when we found ourselves back in Chicago. Our family had taken the Near North tour back in June and really loved it. The Bucktown/Wicker Park tour did not disappoint!!! Our tour guide Kent was awesome!! He was very knowledgeable, interesting, and fun. This is not a section of Chicago that we would have ventured into on our own (because there are no "headline" attractions). Kent was full of stories, information, and tidbits that we never would have found in any tour book! It is very obvious that he loves this city and loves to show it to people. The stops along the way were very varied and interesting. Never have we seen or tasted ice cream made with liquid nitrogen---with so MANY different combinations of flavors as well. Our favorite stop was at Hot Chocolate for the frozen hot chocolate---to die for!! We even returned a few nights later for pizza and beer at the local pizzeria and brewpub. Part of the fun was just watching all of the people gathered at such a popular local hangout. I would recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys food and wants to hear all about Chicago from a local who loves his city!!! | ||||||

| A great chance to experience a part of Chicago you would probably never find on your own. Kent was a great guide, who talked enthusiastically about his home! There was plenty of food but it so well planned out, you eat at the right times so just when you're feeling full, you walk for an hour and take in some beautiful and interesting sights and work your appetite back up!!! Everyone who goes to Chicago should do this!!! | ||||||

| Aryanna was most accommodating. Our group was very large and we had to leave early to catch a flight because it fell a bit behind. She was a wonderful guide and we would highly recommend this tour. Lots of interesting places and great information. | ||||||

| My husband, daughter-in-law and I enjoyed the tour immensely. The food stops were tasty and interesting but the cultural and architectural aspects included made the tour. We loved walking through the neighborhoods. We didn't even notice we walked 2 1/2 miles. Even though she lived in Lincoln Park a few years, our daughter-in-law found areas she hadn't previously discovered. Our group size was good and our guide, Jennifer, was wonderfully informative and fun. Rest stops were not a problem and the food tastings were sufficient for lunch. We'll definitely schedule another tour on a future visit to Chicago. p.s. We wouldn't recommend the tour for young children. We were originally scheduled to bring our 5 1/2 year old granddaughter with us and the tour would not have been interesting for her. | ||||||

| Enjoyed Jennifer, the guide, she has a great attitude and really knows Chicago. The food was wonderful and filling. No need for a big breakfast prior to the tour. I liked that not only is it a food tour but I learned about the culture and history of the neighborhood. Can't wait to go back and try the other tour. | ||||||

| This tour was informative, entertaining, and tasty. Jennifer (the tour guide) was friendly and fun, helped us understand Chicago and the neighborhoods toured from a local's perspective, and was considerate of guests needs. The food was great and ample--my husband and I were amused that their website claims "most participants don't need to eat lunch afterwards." We couldn't imagine anyone wanting lunch after everything eaten on the tour. The spice shop and the olive oil/balsamic vinegar shop were very unique and informative and were well interspersed with the "eating" portions of the tour. Since we stayed downtown this tour enabled us to see a totally different side of Chicago from everything we experienced during the rest of our visit. We will definitely recommend this tour to our friends who come to Chicago. | ||||||

| The Bucktown/Wicker Park tour is a great time. The food is fabulous, and I was absolutely stuffed by the end of the tour! Our tour guide was great--a very friendly guy with a great sense of humor. If you're looking for something fun and memorable to do while in Chicago, this is it. | ||||||

| It was a great day, a great tour, and a really great tour guide - Jessie. This activity gives a nice snapshot of some Chicago neighborhoods and the selection of shops that many people would never have discovered, if not for this tour. Our group had a wonderful time. I have already recommended this to other friends and plan on doing your other tour soon! the ONLY recommendation - to pass out bags with your logo and info on the outside - to hold all the goodies and information! Your tour participants would then be walking advertisements of your tour. | ||||||

| I have spent a lot of time in Chicago but I have never really explored the local neighborhoods--this tour combined wonderful tastings with lots of local information. We had a super guide (Nicky) who was enthusiastic about her job and made the tour even more fun. I plan to take another group of friends on this tour next year and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to do something a little out of the ordinary in downtown Chicago. My one suggestion to the tour planners would be to delete the final pizza place and pick a few more establishments closer to the other ones we visited. I think we walked almost half an hour from the next-to-the-last shop to the pizza place and without that final stop, we could have visited even more shops. Overall, I really enjoyed the tour and totally recommend it to others! | ||||||

| An excellent activity. My Wife and I had a fabulous time. A truly unique way of discovering a new city while sampling different foods etc. The woman that took the tour was tremendous, friendly and with many interesting things to point out about the city. We strongly encourage you to try this out. Nigel & Kim, Wales, UK. | ||||||
