| I so enjoyed the Bucktown/Wicker Park food tour. All the restaurants were fantastic but I particularly liked the chocolate drink and marshmallow and the instant ice cream. The falafel was marvelous as well. Kent was great in his knowledge of the good restaurants in the area as well as his history of Chicago and Bucktown/Wicker Park. His personality fits his job and he does it well. My sister and I will highly recommend this tour and Kent to anyone visiting Chicago which will probably include us back again!!! | Of all the tours that my gal pals & I did in Chicago, this was voted as our favourite. Our tour leader Jen was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and clearly loves her city. We had alot of fun sampling food, and all was good. We learned so much about teas, oils, chocolate making, Chicago pizza and as well, the history of Chicago, esp. the north side. It was well worth the time, and slightly sore feet! You will NOT be disappointed with this tour - guaranteed. Michelle from Ontario | ||||||

| The website's description of the tour as "food tasting" and "enough for lunch" was not quite truthful. We expected sample size portions of foods and were taken aback at the size of the portions that were given at each site. It was more than enough for lunch and some of us had to do a "take out" at one of the locations because we were so full. Our guide, Kent, explained why each site was chosen for the tasting as well as the history of Bucktown and Wickert Park. Discount coupons and a map of the visited sites were provided so that we could go back at another time to enjoy the food, which we did. We went back to George's and got a "double dog" and to Sultan's to get their pita sandwiches. We highly recommend this tour to those who want to learn about and enjoy the local fare and history of an area of Chicago that most "tourists" don't experience. | ||||||

| I enjoyed my Near North food tour so much! Our tour guide was so friendly and knowledgable on all things related to the food we tasted and the neighborhoods we walked through. It gave me a chance to not only try different foods but to see different parts of Chicago I may not have had a chance to experience. I had a wonderful time and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chicago! | ||||||

| My family and I had a great time, 3 of us were born and raised in chicago but during that time you would not go into the wicker part area Seeing all of the changes and having a tour was a lot of fun Kent is a great tour guide who knows how to make everyone feel welcome and is very knowledgeable of the area. The food was also enjyoable and we all left very full. | ||||||

| Good historical and present look at these areas. Guide pointed out hot spots and we sampled the local cuisine. Great if you are looking to return to the area for some food and night life at a later date. | ||||||

| I hoped this would be fun for 4 natives who want to always learn more about the city - and try new restaurants. Jessie was animated and delightful. She shepherded 16 of us about with agility. The restaurant/shop tastings were enlightening with the groups clear favorites being the spice shop and olive oil/vinegar shop in Old Town - not places we would just wander into on our own. It was "light" on architecture but some good, fun stories. The 3 hours whizzed by. Only thing I would change is the last stop was a hike away when there is so much good pizza downtown. | ||||||

| It was a beautiful Fall Saturday afternoon when a friend and I went on this tour. Our guide, ( I think his name was Brad), did an excellent job describing the history of the neighborhoods and telling us interesting facts about the restaurants. This is something you really do not want to miss! It would be nice if the restaurants changed every year so that you could experience other hidden places in these neighborhoods. I also went on the Lincoln Park tour and found it to be just as wonderful. | ||||||

| I am a local and live in downtown Chicago, and I learned much more than I ever could have expected. The tour guide we had (Saturday at 11:30am) was knowledgeable, fun, informative and very inclusive of a very mixed group. The restaurants and stores we visited were perfectly spaced out, and had wonderful new ideas and even "eating lifestyles" to consider. Needless to say, we backtracked at the end of the tour, and purchased wonderful items from almost every place we visited to take home with us. Everything from Jalapeno flavored oil with a cilantro vinegar to Fire Salt spice and wonderful teas. It was so fun, we are going to do the other tour when more friends from out-of-town come in! Seriously, this tour is not to be missed by out-of-towners OR LOCALS! | ||||||

| We were in Chicago for a girls weekend. We really enjoyed the tour. Our guide, Jen was wonderful! The tastings were great. The food was plentiful. I thought that the oil shop wouldn't be very intriguing but it turned out to be one of my favorites. It was interesting to see the neighborhoods and learn a little of the history of the areas. Next time we would like to take the other neighborhood tour since we enjoyed this so much. Highly recommend this one. | ||||||

| Tour took 4 hrs rather than 3hrs but it was worth it. Highly recommend tour guide Jennifer, as she was fun and enthusiastic. Don't eat a breakfast prior to the tour. The shop owners are generous in their samples and are very welcoming. Wear good walking shoes. | ||||||

| I would recommend this tour to anyone but esp to out of towners. You really get a bird's eye view of our fantastic city and all it has to offer. Your selection of venues had a nice diversity, good food, and websites to visit to purchase items. Thanks, Jennifer, for a great time. Your love of Chicago and its offerings is very evident. | ||||||
