| The Food Tasting and Cultural Tour was awesome! Our tour guide was fantastic! We truly enjoyed ourselves! I am trying to get a larger group of friends to take the tasting tour again! If you have the opportunity to go on this tour, take advantage of it! Great food, unique information, cultural history, and great exercise!! | ||||||

| My daughter and I spent the whole day learning about Chicago and it's neighborhoods, tasting foods we may never have stopped to try. We had a great time, would highly recommend it for the locals and your out of town visitors. Our tour guide Shane was knowledgeable and entertaining! It couldn't have been a better day! I would highly recomend it!! | ||||||

| I also took this tour thru Greenwich Village, NY. I loved it and recommended it many times. Went a second time with family as we were visiting. The Chicago tour needs more history and more diversity amoung the stops. Too much candy and chocolate. Deli - boring, and bad food. Tea shop - informative and great idea Old Town Fudge - fun, tasty, great stop Spice House - I shop there often and enjoy it. They need a bettter presentation and time to shop. Oil Shop - good idea - time to shop is needed Bacino's and Ethel's are fun. You feel too rushed on the tour. Add a half hour and let people shop. We did enjoy ourselves and appreciate your efforts. | ||||||

| We had a great time. Our guide was fun, she even knew alot of Chicago history. The food tasting was great, wish we had time to shop at the spice and oil shops. Our group liked the fudge shop the best, and had to force ourselves to eat even more choc. candy. We had great weather, don't think It would have been fun in the rain. | ||||||

| Our guide Jen was fun and knowledgable. The restaurants/stores we visited were wonderful. We stopped in places we would never notice on our own. Everyone was friendly and the tastings were great. We went back to several stores and purchased items we sampled. This is one of the best Chicago tours I've taken. We look forward to taking the Loop tour you may be planning for the Spring. If you have a mailing list, please put us on it! | ||||||

| Our tour guide made a valiant effort at keeping our group on schedule, but was ultimately unsuccessful. Of course, WE DIDN'T MIND IN THE LEAST! Each stop represented a unique, fine tasting experience and a local institution, some of which we natives ourselves had never known before! | ||||||

| I booked this tour online without any knowledge (besides the reviews I read) of what to really expect. I was FAR from disapointed!! This was the most awsome day. You get a guided casual fun walk around the beautiful neighborhoods of Chicago, with stops along the way to taste and learn about the foods and the neighborhoods. The tastings are not just small bites. You really get a large sample to taste and sometimes there are seconds to go around. Walking around Chicago in the awsome, beautiful, interesting neighborhoods, snacking as you go, is my idea of the perfect day....and it was!! | ||||||

| Very much enjoyed the architectural part of the tour as well as the tasting at some of our eight stops. The tour guide (Shane) was very informative and the tour was not hurried. We were not able to purchase any items during the tour but we were all given maps and coupons to return to the business when the tour was over. It was a lot of walking so wear good shoes. | ||||||

| When I bought the tickets I was hoping this would be a fun activity for us. I was completely surprised by the amount of fun as well as the food and the background of Chicago that was given. Everyone I spoke to was surprised at how excited I was after the trip and many asked how they could learn where to get tickets. I have a really bad knee and was concerned about walking 2 miles but it didn't seem that long as the stops were perfectly spaced and some allowed you to sit for a few minutes. The food was fantastic and well portioned. I was a little concerned about going to the Old Town Oil however, when asked at the end about your favorite place over have the group said it was Old Town Oil. I think most everyone would enjoy this tour. | ||||||

| The variety of businesses was nice (tea, spices, oil / vinegar, chocolate, pizza, cheeses). Shane, our tour guide, was great. He was enthusiastic and provided a lot of information as we walked. I would definitely go again, but would alter a few stops as noted below. We started out downtown near the Water Tower. The first locations was actually a few blocks away, so I am not sure why we didn't just start there. I would eliminate this first location (it was OK, but nothing special) and for the second location (tea store), I would go to their store in Lincoln Park instead of the one closer to the loop. This would have made the walk quite a bit shorter. (Not that I can't walk that far, but 3 1/2 hours could have been cut by at least 30 to 45 minutes with these changes.) I would add Vosges Haut Chocolate at the end of the tour instead of Ethel's. And there is a very nice ice cream and italian ice business (Annette's) in Lincoln Park as well - we went there on our own afterwards. | ||||||

| Just got back from the Chicago Food Tasting & Walking Tour and had a fabulous time! Being from Chicago, but not from the toured area, I found it wonderful having a highly qualified, knowledgeable, personable guide (aka Nikki!) to lead me through this beautiful area of Chicago (being able to walk through the neighborhoods was definitely a plus for me). Not only did we learn some historical facts surrounding the toured area, but we got to sample some delectable edibles! The information gathered at The Spice Shop, Old World Oil Shop, etc. will certainly be put to good use in my kitchen. I hope they add more neighborhoods in the future; I would definitely sign up! | ||||||

| I have enthusiastically recommended this tour to my friends. It is a perfect birthday/anniversary etc gift. A fun AND educational experience. We were fortunate in that the weather was ideal and the guide excellent. A great way to spend the better part of a day. | ||||||

| I am a local downtown Chicago and can go back to the stores. Most people in our group were not local and would of liked to shop at the stores. Maybe fewer stops or closer shops so time to shop. Very nice tour and guide. We had 9 in our tour which I thought ideal. Maybe raise price and have fewer people then time to shop. | ||||||
