| since we walked through an area, which is not in direct focus of tourists, I would suggest to put more emphasis on explaining the very interesting houses and the area | ||||||

| The perfect combination of history, architecture and FOOD! I wish they had had more exotic foods available. I was not too crazy about eating at the grocery store. But the persian, i-cream and the not so famous thin pizza were a treat. We went back to the chocolate place for breakfast and that was better than I expected. A lot of the places were small and crowded so it was a little bit of a struggle. The tour guide was good he had to warm up first but then he was great. Chicago tends to get hot and sometimes rainy so that is something you really need to take into account when taking this tour as in involves a lot of walking; comfortable shoes and clothes a must. We took these tours at the beginning of our stay and then did the touristy thing, definitely not worth to do the latter, too crowded and not as fun as eating with a group of fun people who love to eat. I recommend this to anybody who likes to know a city on a non-typical way. | ||||||

| We went on the "Near North" tour last summer and enjoyed it very much. When we realized we would be back in Chicago this summer it was the very first thing we booked. Unfortunately, I had a stomach virus on our scheduled date and the manager was kind enough to switch us to another date. We were so appreciative. This was really one of the highlights of our trip. We do enjoy the food, but love learning the history of an area we know nothing about. Also, the architecture aspects are so interesting. The food of course was unique and delicious. We felt this tour offered more food which was delicious but we enjoyed the "specialty" shops of the Near North just as well. I wish we had these tours in my neighborhood. Shane should really franchise this idea out, it is fantastic and everyone on our tour seemed to love it. Kudos to Shane and Kent our guide. | ||||||

| My 6-year old son and I were visiting my sister in the city and decided to try something different this time. Luckily, he's already kind of a foodie and enjoys "grown-up" stuff. The food was great, the tour guide, Jessie, was really good and we learned a lot. Jessie made sure my son was welcomed and a part of the group. If you have a child much younger, or who doesn't have a good attention span, I wouldn't recommend it. Three hours was just right for this kind of tour. | ||||||

| Our tour guide, "Kent" was great. Loved the food and loved the residential walk as well. Great experience and I will recommend it to all who visit Chicago. Hint: Go hungry! | ||||||

| My fiancee and I had a great time. Our favorite was the Old Time Oil. We didn't know what to expect when we were instructed to take mini-shots of flavored oil and vinegar, but to our surprise everything was so amazingly tastey. We ended up buying 8 bottles. Our guide, Jennifer, was the best! We highly recommend this tour to anyone who has any appreciation for food. | ||||||

| Our tour guide Jess made our experience excellent. I was very proud to be a resident of Chicago and be a part of the great history and food that our great city has to offer. My husband and I were celebrating our 16th wedding anniversary and the Buck town and Wicker park tour was an excellent start to a great anniversary. The food was great and plentiful. If you are a lover of good food, history, architect and great professional company then Bucktown and Wicker Park is the tour for you. I proudly recommend it. I enjoyed all the food experiences but the most innovative and delicious one had to be the i cream shop. | ||||||

| My wife and I attended the Bucktown/ wicker park food tour. While we have visited chicago many times this tour gave us the oportunity to explore a little further outside of the main downdown area and into the neighborhood. The food was great and I appreciated visiting the "mom and pop" establishments to get a feel for the soul of the area. I wish it wasn't raining for our tour, but our guide still kept us ammused and one can hardly blame the weather on them. | ||||||

| First of all I'd like to say that dealing with Zerve was a pleasure and our guide could not have been better. She was enthusiastic and knowledgeable.-- just a joy to be with! The tour was very informative! We had always wanted to learn about the Old Town / Lincoln Park areas, and we did! There was enough food, and we went away full and satisfied. I'd go back to the Ashkenaz Deli in a heartbeat! The pizza, though, was not hot and the dough was tough---It was as though it had been sitting for awhile. The shop I was not sure I'd enjoy was the oil / vinegar shop, but it was truely fabulous!! Everyone should know about it! And what else needs to be saId about a shop that sells good chocolate! Yum! I can't wait to go on their other tour! | ||||||

| I am a Chicago Native, however, I had only been to one of the restaurants featured on the tour. I really enjoyed the food and learning about the history of the neighborhood. This was a great way to spend the afternoon! | ||||||

| The Food Tasting Selections were outstanding. I was totally amazed at the portions we received. The restaurant selections were fabulous. So was walking the neighborhood of Bucktown and Wicker Park. Learned so much about the history of the area. Our guide was fabulous and knew a lot. Totally enjoyable. Have already recommended the tour to my Chicago family. | ||||||
