| My wife and I agree that this tour was the highlight of our trip to Chicago. Our tour guide, Kent, never stopped talking. He shared his architectural knowledge, restaurant reviews, history of the neighborhoods and personal experiences with great ease. All of the food we had from the Chicago dogs, iced chocolate drink, pasta salad, pizza and beer, falafel, and ice cream was excellent and enough for lunch and dinner. You can expect that we will pass our praises onto everyone we know that plan to visit Chicago. Thanks and we will see you again. As an afterthought, when the weather is hot, you might want to suggest that people bring bottled water. We did, but others did not. | ||||||

| I'm always looking for something fun to do that's off the beaten track, and this tour was perfect. Even though I live in Chicagoland, I have not been to Bucktown or Wicker Park much. I was surprised at all the neat little restaurants and the variety of food that was offered on this tour. I actually had to "take-away" the falafel - I just couldn't eat anymore! I also love architecture, and really enjoyed having the details of some special homes pointed out during our walk around Wicker Park. The history about the area was also very interesting. Kent was our tour guide - I thought he was fantastic. I highly recommend this tour. I have also been on the Near North Food Tour. I enjoyed that one as well - it is completely different and goes through more neighborhoods (but is a longer walk). | ||||||

| We enjoyed all the stops, the Wicker Park and Bucktown area, good walking speed. Would like to see smaller portions, more tastes from the locations. Other than that it was great. | ||||||

| This was a very fun tour with regards to stopping in different places and seeing some cool architecture and landmarks in the Gold Coast, Old Town, and Lincoln Park areas. The actual food itself was not amazing or very new to us, but it was still enjoyable. We would have loved even more information about specific places and cuisines (deli, pizza) and maybe some more food on the tour. Overall--great. And Jennifer is a fabulous guide. | ||||||

| We all enjoyed the food and the history. The guide was very personable and knowledgable. Our group of 6 included my older parents, who were a little slow with the walking. The description says for all ages and fitness levels, and we proved that was true! The guide was attentive to us and our needs; made sure we crossed the streets safely and caught up with the group. We had food experiences we had never expected and had plenty to eat. | ||||||

| All around the tour was great and everyone had a great time. It's something that really needs a nice warm day to enjoy however. Although the tastings we went to were all good in their own right, I wish there was more diversity in the types of foods we had. I think there were 6 tastings altogether and 3 of them were chocolate. It would have been nice to include places like vegetarian and or ice-cream/ frozen desserts, even a specialty meats shop would have been nice. Our guide Shane was a really fun tour guide as well. Overall I would recommend it highly! | ||||||

| I've lived in Chicago for 4 years now and I have only been to one of these great places that we went to. Plus the historical and general depth of knowledge of the specialities of the stores was great. If you like history and good knowledge then its a great tour, but as a great bonus, you get to eat amazing food. | ||||||

| Although we had lived in Chicago for seven years, we returned to visit now that we moved away. This is an activity/service that was long overdue for a city with excellent food and culture. We expected to try some good food, which we did, but was pleasantly surprised to have all the additional neighborhood information along the walk. I learned new things about buildings, parks, and areas that I had been in countless times. Jennifer (our tour guide) had wonderful energy and really engaged well with a diverse group. Be prepared to walk...the Near North tour covered a pretty significant distance that would be difficult for someone with mobility problems. I highly recommend this tour and look forward to trying others if/when they expand to some of the lesser known but equally interesting neighborhoods. | ||||||

| We were fortunate enough to have perfect weather for our walk, which made the day even more enjoyable. Caroline, our guide, was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and made an effort to interact with each of us. Each stop was interesting; I especially enjoyed The Spice House. Next time in Chicago (and there WILL be a next time), I will definitely take another Chicago Food Planet tour. | ||||||

| This is a must do in Chicago. The tour shows off some real gems in the northern districts. Our tour guide Jen really made the tour thoroughly enjoyable even though the weather was dreadful (Hail the size of cherry stones!). All of the tasting sessions were both informative and interesting and the portions surprisingly large! Thanks to Chicago Food Planet for such a wonderful adventure! | ||||||

| Nicole was our guide and we learned so much more about CHicago even though 4 out of our 5 were native CHicagoans. Highly recommend! I would not do Sunday next time because the places were closed ater our tour so we could not go back to buy items. | ||||||

| We thoroughly enjoyed the entertaining and fun tour through the Chicago neighborhoods. It was a lot of walking but we stopped several times to enjoy the various shops/eateries. We also had bathroom breaks and we did not go hungry! The tour guide, Emily, was outstanding. She was courteous, friendly and outgoing. It was a blast. Everyone on our tour thought so as well. We learned some local history and enjoyed the unique shops. It was well worth the time and money. Don't miss it! | ||||||
