The Bucktown Wicker Park food outing was enjoyable and diverse but portions could be a bit larger. All stops should provide water. Long walk between stop four and five! Nicole had many details of the neighborhood's history. She was a informed tour guide. |

My two girlfriends and I (one from suburbs of Chicago, other visiting with me from out of state) truly enjoyed our tour. We loved our guide and the attention to detail in her tour throughout neighborhoods and residential areas in the Old Town and Gold Coast. Very informational and fun and I would recommend this to anyone who is visiting Chicago and wants to try something unique and fun with friends or family. The only disappointing detail is that we could not shop while we were in the stores at that time. We moved on and walked far distances in between stops, so it was impossible to return to those earlier shops (unless we got a cab to specifically go out of our way back there.) I think the businesses would benefit greatly if we were given just 5-10 minutes to taste while shopping, because it is unlikely we will make it back, even if we really want to purchase something from their shop later on. It was a bummer for me, since they also offer coupons right there withing the tour's handouts to use at those shops :( Overall, great fun and very educational! |

Our guide was Martha and she was friendly and knowledgeable. Very good stops, lots of interesting information at the tasting locations and along the walk. The food was excellent. Toured with my 20 and 25 year old sons. We all loved it. |

This is the second food tour I attented. We went on the Near North Food Tasting last year and it was great. I loved this food tour as well and our wonderfull guide, Kent. We had alot of food everywhere we went. It was all delicious. Kent was so knowledgeable about each place we visited. We learned so much history with the tour. Can't wait the our next tour in Chinatown. PS Kent.....did you get any new shoes yet.....lol |

The other two food tours offered a lot more of the background and history of the area. On the Chinatown one, we ate (and ate a lot). It was more like two or three full lunches served in a two and a half hour time frame. I would have preferred more visits to the groceries and other shops in the area. Also, more of a history of the architecture and meeting some of the restaurant owners. We had about 5 pieces of dim sum, peking duck and two different styles of food that were each meals on their own. |

We had a wonderful tour with Sophie of Bucktown/ Wicker Park! My 14 year old daughter loved it and listed it as her favorite thing we did in Chicago. She loved the shopping in the area afterwards that Sophie pointed out! We would do another tour next time we visit! |

Food was good but I thought there might be more. I loved the way Sophie (guide) was so descriptive about the neighborhoods history and its sense of community. Would def. take another tour next time in Chicago |

Our girls trip read about this on trip advisor and decided to go as a group. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food (James Beard ) winner chefs, the amount of food (go hungry) and how much we learned about Chicago history and architecture. We plan on doing all 3 neighborhood tours on our next Chicago weekend. Highly recommend Carrie our guide as well |

While we enjoyed everything on our vacation to Chicago, we both agreed that the walking/food tasting tour was our favorite. Well paced and the 7 venues visited complimented each other well. |

Took this tour with my mother and we had a great time. Our guide Kent enriched us with facts about the neighborhood, notable homes, and history of the area that was such an added bonus. Would however recommend how much walking each tour requires so older attendees are prepared. |

Kent our tour guide was funny, enthusiastic and entertaining! Very informative and clearly well versed in the tasting areas and culture! Some interesting and funny stories kept the day entertaining and never boring!!! Food was to die for!!! Many, if not all, are award winning restaurants! I'm a chef and I absolutely loved it!!! Small groups means you get to get to know everyone on your tour and some we'll keep in contact with!! If your thinking of doing any tour at all.... Do this one!!! Ps.... Bring your appetite or don't have breakfast!!! Amazing!! MC |

My husband and I enjoyed this tour tremendously. Come with an empty stomach as this tour will fill you up. We loved the stop at Hot Chocolate and will return here the next time we are in Chicago. The stop at the deli inspired us to create our own roasted vegetable salad when we got home. We also truely enjoyed the time spent with the other people on our tour - a couple from Australia, a couple from Brazil, a family from NJ, a dad from Costa Rica and his daughter from Texas. And our tour guide, Kent was a very informative and upbeat guy. This tour was a great way to learn about (and eat our way through) a part of the Chicago area we had never explored. |

Unique and educational way to learn, see and taste Chicago. My husband and I loved the walk thru diff neighborhoods, trying diff food items from local shops, meeting people from all over. Will definitely do another tour the next time we are in Chicago! Liked how tour is set up where you sample the most substantial tastings firstand lighter in middle, ending on dessert!! Thanks Jess for a great tour |

The food tour was amazing. It had just the right amount of food, plus oils and spices. There was lots of food history as well as Chicago history. A great knowledgeable tour leader, and lots of personality to boot! Thanks! |

We had a mix of all ages, a wonderful tour guide and I really enjoyed the places we toured. I will take the other 2 tours. Piece and Hot Chocolate were my favorites and have returned to both places since. I can't remember our guide, but she said we could call her Sheila if we didn't like her. All said and done my family and I had fun with her. |
