| A fun way to see a few different Chicago neighborhoods and taste some food. The tour covered a lot of ground, so be prepared to walk a lot and rather fast! The food stops were fun; the pizza was fantastic! I wish there could have been a few more food stops though. Our guide was enthusiastic, courteous, and entertaining. | ||||||

| Our leader (Sean, Shawn?) was enthusiastic. The history of the city, neighborhoods, and buildings is a great addition to food talk. Also, the architecture info. was good. | ||||||

| This was a great tour! I love to eat, so being able to combine food tastings with experiencing various areas of Chicago was great! The food tastings were varied and good, and the tour guide was very knowledgeable and outgoing. I would definitely recommend the tour to anyone visiting the area. | ||||||

| This walking tour is a great way to see parts of Chicago you won't find in the guide books. The food aspect was fun and delicious, but the walk was interesting and informative as well. I would definitely recommend this activity to anyone wanting to see more of the city besides the typical tourist sites, provided they enjoy walking. The tour takes several hours and you are on the go most of the time, so would be taxing for someone who does not walk much or is very out of shape. Shane is a great guide, and he makes the tour fun, as well as educational. | ||||||

| Shane was a great guide. He knew quite a bit about Chicago and the places we went by. I would say that the food we tasted was quite good but not very abundant. The 7 places we tried had interesting food. The Pizza place we stopped at had the best thin crust pizza I have ever had, sorry New York it even beat yours out. I would recommend this tour and I would go on it again. With the one warning be prepared to walk for 3+ hours with only a few stops in between. If you can do that then this tour is for you. | ||||||

| This was the BEST PART of my Chicago vacation!!! I took the tour when an unexpected rainy cold front hit Chicago in May. I almost didn't go on the tour --- what a mistake that would have been. The tour guide was fun, knowledgeable and had obviously spent time perfecting and caring for the tour. The selection of food stops were top quality, unique, one of a kind, a great variety. The store owners were gracious and welcoming; there was no attempts to sell you their products, you felt welcome to simply experience. The behind the scenes neighborhoods each had their own interesting stories and history - all of which the tour guide made fun and interesting. I would have found none of this on my own. The guide was so incredibly personable as if he enjoyed the tour as much as I did. After the tour I even retraced my steps to visit some of the places we experienced. SUMMARY: This tour is not the normal "tourist" attraction, yes, you learn all about Chicago, history, fun facts... but you go behind the normal common "tourist routes" into quality areas and neighborhoods, tasteful and unique stores, the food is delicious and the tour guide is warm, interesting and takes pride in presenting the best. This was the most fun and personable tour I have ever taken , I hope to return again. DON'T MISS THIS! | ||||||

| The tour was great. The food was amazing and besides that I learned a lot about Chicago history and architecture. It's also a really different tour for anyone visiting from out of town because you will get to visit some of the neighborhoods outside of downtown where you might not know where to go on your own. | ||||||

| Nikki was our guide - she was GREAT! The Near North tour was so much fun! Great stops along the way - we learned SO much about the food/tea/spice/oils, etc and went back the next day to get some of the great stuff we sampled. Thanks for a wonderful tour. Next time we'll do Wicker Park. | ||||||

| I would highly recommend this tour. I was on a work/conference trip and had a 1/2 day to spare. This was a great way to spend that time to learn a little about the city, it's neighborhoods, culture, food and entertainment venues. I would recommend the following to make this exeperience even better (even if it added an hour): 1. allow time to shop 5-10 minutes per stop. I would have spent money to boost the local economy if I could have shopped. I knew I was not going to have time to make it back up North during my trip to visit the shops again. I'll try to shop online for the things i just have to have, but it would have been nice for the shop owners to have made immediate sales. 2. have bread on hand for the Oil stop. It was fun to lick and slurp but would have been divine on some crusty bread. I would plan another tour like this on my next trip. It was a great time with work colleagues and meeting locals as well. | ||||||

| I went on the Sunday tour. We left on time after a brief introduction of our group and an overview of what we'd be doing. At each stop (and en route), Jenn was informative and her energy was great. The vendors obviously thought a lot of her. I learned a lot at each stop and ate a lot .... The blend of shops was terrific and Jenn's knowledge of each area was impressive and colourful! I would definitely suggest this to friends visiting Chicago with the added comment to do it as a first event and giving you time to return to the shops while you are there. Cheers! | ||||||
