| We loved the tour!! Kent was our guide and he did a great job!!! The food was great, the stories behind the food fun, and a walk down the side streets is always a great way to see the houses and parks. The tour was fun, informative and great tasting! I found it on trip advisor, but didn't see it advertised in many other places. | ||||||

| The food was delicious. We were very impressed with the history and credentials of all of the resturants and chefs. Our guide, Kent, was so knowledgable and was able not only to keep the group of 14 moving on time but do it in a positive humerous manner. Kent also knew so much about the history and gave interesting facts that will help us remember this wonderful afternoon. He talked to all of the participants during the walk and gave such good information and insight into the area. We loved the coupons on the sheet and were very appreciative of the participation of the resturants. The hosts in each resturant welcomed us with a smile and had everything prepared and ready - thanks to Kent's calling ahead - when we arrived. The resturants were each unique and complimented the walk with different views and tates of the area. Each resturant welcomed us whole heartly even at this busy time of the day. They had areas set aside for the group and never once made you feeled rushed or in the way. This was one of the best organized tours I have been on and I was very impressed not only with the tour but the timing of the tour. The three hours went very quickly. Because of the locations, we also had time at the end to return that day and purchase several items to bring home for the families to taste later that day. We had enough food that no dinner was needed that night - just happy memories of this wonderful tour. People are missing a great opportunity if they do not take this tour. It is fun, filling, and delightful. Our weather was perfect, our guide outstanding, and our food the best of the best in each eating establishment. We cannot wait to return to every resturant and enjoy more of their delicious food. The tour lived up to its name and I would recommend it highly to everyone. I used this as birthday presents for my sister and sister-in-law and they said it was the best present ever. THANK YOU! | ||||||

| Kate was our tour guide. Besides the fact that the tour was great she was wonderful!!! She added so much historical stuff with humor and grace. I know she is leaving to go to school but this tour will stay successful if you continue to hire guides like Kate!!! Highly recommend it! Would like to come back and take my husband next time. | ||||||

| This tour was much better than I had expected! I'm the one that hyped the tour to the boyfriend, and then at the last minute had second thoughts. I was wrong to think that way! The tour guide (Jen?) is a natural born public speaker. The sites were interesting. Who knew places like tea and oil shops could be so interesting?! We were more than pleased. The only change I'd recommend is to drop the Catering Chocolate place. There wasn't really anything unique to it, no one from the store came and introduced themselves to us...aside from the fact the owner catered to celebrities, you could find this stuff anywhere - even in cornfield IL where we're from. Also, we mentioned to the guide we couldn't wait to take the other tour, and she said we shouldn't - that now that we've been on one tour we should know how to just immerse ourselves into a neighborhood! We still find that very odd and offputting. With our luck we'd get shot somewhere we shouldn't be going on our own! At any rate, we thought if that's how they feel then fine, we won't be back! | ||||||

| My husband and I loved the tour! It was a very educational experience. We feel like we know Chicago a lot more now! We just hoped we could have tasted more food. But the overall experience was great:) We are definitely doing a taste tour of other cities. | ||||||

| I've never been on a food tour and I really enjoyed this experience. It was a nice way to see different neighborhoods, architecture and of course taste food and visit unique establishments. Our tour guide was really great. | ||||||

| The Bucktown/Wicker Park Food & Cultural Tour is fantabulous!!!! It's filled with amazing food, facts, & a lot of fun!!! Be sure to arrive hungry as the servings are generous and delicious! After your tour be sure browse the shops on Damen, Division, & Milwaukee a lot of local designers and artists have shops in this area. I personally think it's the best shopping in Chicago. I lived in Chicago eight years ago and return often to visit, I must say the Food & Cultural Tour is at the top of my Chicago favorite list! | ||||||

| Beautiful day and great to walk everywhere but it would have been better if we could have made a complete circle so that we could have ended back up closer to where we started. The variety of places were good and interesting. Enjoyed the teas, the chocolate, and even the deep dish pizza. tour guide did a good job of moving us along. Overall, my favorite was the spice shop where I actually learned about spices and cinnamon specifically. Wish we had more time there. The health benefits of specific food would have been interesting to hear including the mood enhancing benefits ie chocolate. Tour guide did know her stuff. | ||||||

| This was truely at food tour, the portions were full portions for most of the tastes. I tried food I never would normally have tried and it was all really good. Kent our guide was excellent and provided a very throughal background of the places. It was nice to take a walk around the neighboorhoods to work off all the food we ate. The houses we saw were very beautiful. I would highly recommond this tour. | ||||||

| My boyfriend and I both loved the tour. He was a bit skeptical, but with in the first two stops he was having as much fun as I was. We are from a local suburb about 45 min. north, and we had never visited these shops, and are dieing to go back. After the tour was over, we walked back to 2 of the shops, (Spice House, and Tea Gschwender). Another favorite of ours was the Old Town Oil, balsamic vinegar and olive oil tasting, AMAZING! The only stop of the tour that both of us did not like, was called Catering Chocolate. Not that this store did not have its charms, but it was more of a catering business selling left overs than a shop that specialized in one item, (like the tea, spice, oil shops). It was the only store that we could not see ourselves going back to, both because of the high cost, and lack of enthusiasm from the owner. (Although the hummus and cheese where good.) I believe our tour leader was named Julie, or Jen, and she was great and very knowledgeable! Worth the money for a good day out in beautiful weather. | ||||||

| My family and I participated in the tour on the basis of reading about it on Trip Advisor. We chose the Bucktown tour as we thought it would give us an insight on an area we wouldn't otherwise visit, plus we liked the sound of the eateries! Ben our tour guide was a very enthusiastic, likeable person who obviously enjoyed what he was doing and most importantly knew his subject. It was a very relaxed environment, and the tour was taken at a very relaxed pace, especially as we had a few of the older generation with us! However, this was not a problem as it was a hot afternoon and we were quite happy to keep a slower pace. The food provided was excellent and plentiful, in fact we were all not very hungry for dinner in the evening. Take out bags were provided if required. Overall, I would recommend this tour to all ages and in fact next time we are in Chicago we will definitely do the other tour offered. Well done Ben! | ||||||
