Very satisfying tour that gave you enough food to keep you looking forward to the next stop while providing an excellent synopsis of the neighborhood.

Fantastic taste of Chicago!

This was a fantastic tour! We were visiting from South Louisiana and only had one day in Chicago, so we wanted to make the most of it. This was a great way to not only sample some of the local fare, but a chance to learn a little bit about the city as well. Nicole, our guide, was enthusiastic and informed, so it was very educational, as she pointed out interesting landmarks and buildings during our walking tour of the Gold Coast and Old Town neighborhoods. The food was fantastic, beginning with the pastrami sandwiches at Ashkenaz Deli, all the way through to Delightful Pastries. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Chicago. What a beautiful city!

Tons of fun, tons of food!

We walked the 3.7 mile trek up from the loop and made it in about 80 minutes. We arrived at the meeting spot outside Georges Hotdogs at exactly 11:30 and found about a dozen other food hounds ready to go. Our guide, Ken was fun, funny, enthusiastic and knowledgable. He made the adventure very easy, guiding us from one spot to another with aplomb and giving us a really great sense of the neighborhood, it's history, architecture and the diversity of food available in this area of Chicago. Really well done! Make sure to come on an empty stomach because you'll finish the trip stuffed to the gills if you eat everything you're given at every stop! If you can, save a spec of room for a little ice cream at the end. It was an excellent experience and one we'll be repeating with the other taste tours they offer both in Chicago and in other cities. What a great way to experience a neighborhood, eat a wide variety of excellent food and get to know other folks. Very highly recommended!

This tour was easy, fun, packed with information and the food was terrific! We came away with tons of ideas of places to go, things to do and eat! We learned more than we could ever have learned in such a fun and relaxed setting. I would recommend it to anyone. Our age group was diverse as was the tour itself. Our host was charming and knowledgeable. We look forward to attending more tours. This was our second visit to Chicago. The first time researching the web and randomly trying places. This tour is a much better way of getting to know the city! We've never taken a tour before so had no idea what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised and felt it was worth every penny!

The food was great. The stop in the tea house was more interesting then I ever thought. We went back to the purchase some of the items we had an opportunity to try. I would high recommend it.

I recently went on my second Food Tasting and Cultural Tour in Chicago! It was a cold and windy day- and it was still fun!! Our guide was terrific- providing us with lots of good food and historical information about Bucktown and Wicker Park- all the while keeping in mind that some of us were not dressed for the weather! It seemed as if there was less walking than in the Near North tour that I did last summer. There was a variety of food to try - and definitely enough!! It is a good idea to bring along a water bottle regardless of the weather. As the neighborhood continues to grow, maybe there will be more foodie specialty stores to add to the mix! These are such fun that I'd like to start a tour in my city!

I had a great time on the food tour despite the cold and wind. The food was excellent and I loved that it was mostly local family owned businesses. There was a lot of history provided as we walked from place to place.

A combination of food, architecture, history and fun. We have taken the Bucktown/Wicker Park and the Near Nortthside tour. Each time has been great. Highlight on this tour, Mideastern Restaurant. Our group had locals, tourists from the states and international travelers. A great way to spend several hours in Chicago.

I live in the chicagoland area and still learned so much about the Bucktown/Wicker Park Area. It was an awesome tour and the tour guide and the other people on the tour were super friendly so it made for a great date with my husband! The local eateries are definitely on my list to go back to!

I would recommend the Wicker Park food tasting tour to anyone. It was great fun and educational. I have traveled to Chicago a number of times and still found the information very interesting. For someone that has never been to the city, this tour would give them a week of experience in a few hours.
