| Our party of 4 (adults & kid) thoroughly enjoyed the tour despite the lashing rain! our tour guide Jen was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and all of the stops on the tour were well worth seeing. There was "just enough" food and drink to satisfy us without being too full, and we all felt that the experience widened our culinary horizons! | ||||||

| I think the best part of the tour is a chance to visit local neighourbood and try local food where first time tourists would not usually do. The tours are well organized. They gave you maps showing the walking directions and information of transit information, so you could easily go back to visit the places yourself afterwards. You also get to go behind the scenes in some places which I found quite cool. Next time I am in Chicago I will definitely try their other tours or even take the same tour again. | We called the number on the electronic boarding passes that spoke of the tour after we were already in Chicago. We decided to try it since we had done most of the tourist stuff listed in books. What a great time we had and to think when we left for Chicago this wasn't even on the list of things to do. It ended up being the highlight of the trip. | ||||||

| Very interesting way to see a Chicago neighborhood. There is enough food for lunch and dinner ( almost everyone took something home). Watch out for the hot pepper on the hot dog. The pizza/brew pub was my favorite, but the unique ice cream was a close second. The homes around Wicker Park are worth the visit even if you don't like to eat. | ||||||

| My wife and I enjoyed this tour immensely. Nicki was a great guide, very informative and personal. The places we went to were diverse and fun. And of course all the tastings were great! It was a good walk and we both liked seeing parts of Chicago we had never seen before. Sadly, we didn't have enough time to go back to some of the shops and make purchases but next time we visit Chicago we will go straight to them. This tour is such a fun thing to do that really shows what Chicago is all about. | ||||||

| The best part about the tour was that is was many tours mixed into one. My wife and I enjoy food very much, and we also enjoy tours of cities where they tell you about what you are looking at. This tour was both into one and by adding in the food of the neighborhoods, it helped you understand and live the life of a local. Highly reccomended. | ||||||

| What a terrific time we had on this tour. Not only was the food incredible, the tour guide was energetic, fun and extremely knowledgable on the architecture, folklore, and history of the area. Not only did we have a great time on the tour, I will be taking my family back down to enjoy a number of the stops along the way. This is a fantastic tour I would rank as one of the best in the entire city! | ||||||

| One of the most interesting and fascinating experiences. Our guide, Nicky, made us feel as if we were on a private tour with her. Her comments about the history of the neighborhoods we visited were informative and enjoyable. We've lived in the Greater Chicago area (Vernon Hills) for 11 years but were unaware of the sites we visited. We plan to recommend the tour to allof our out-of-town visitors. We have already recommended it to our neighbors and local friends. | ||||||

| GREAT TIME! Exceeded my expectations. Didn't know how tea and spices could be so interesting, but they were! Special kudos to the tour guide, who provided a great deal of the information, even in the restaurants and shops! The only problem, a little more walking than suggested by the on-line information. My sister had a hard time keeping up, but she wasn't in perfect health. Other than that, a WONDERFUL way to see some of the neighborhoods of Chicago, whether for the first or the hundreth time! | ||||||

| The Near North Food Tour was great. Admittedly at first I didn't have high hopes for some of the destinations, but it turned out I enjoyed everywhere we went. There are also architectural and historical information the tour guide would give us that made the walking to each place fun. I think it's well worth the money. | ||||||

| This tour provided an excellent mix of interactive tastings, foot bound movement through local neighborhoods, relevant and interesting information, and notable information about the city's history. There is a good variety of types of food related venues and they make them all at least somewhat interesting. The food itself is pretty dang good and you get special discounts and coupons. | ||||||

| We met some friends of our in Chicago for a get away weekend. We both have younger families and it was time for a break. We found this tour via Trip Advisor and read several of the reviews. This is a great way to see the city and taste a few things that you might have the opportunity to otherwise. Our tour guide Niki gave us her all. Shew was fantastic as we our hosts. The tour exceeded our expectations. The next time we are in Chicago we will take the Bucktown tour. Nice job! | ||||||
