| Kate was our tour guide - very knowledgable, enthusiastic, and interactive. It was nice to see different parts of Chicago while tasting local treats. Not only did we experience the restaurants / shops, but Kate gave us some history of the city along the way. I would highly recommend this tour! It's a great way to see the city! | ||||||

| Our guide, Jen, was the most enthusiastic person, so upbeat and really knew the area. She was funny and light and had a wonderful rapport with the merchants we visited. Only one stop on the tour could have been eliminated. All the rest were great and for sure we had enough food to last the day. | ||||||

| I purchased this tour as a gift for my husband who loves to try new foods. Surprisingly, I enjoyed it as much as he did. The Old Town Oil stop was so much fun. Who would have thought drinking olive oil could be such a treat to your senses. Definitely recommend the tour. More walking than anticipated, but it was a beautiful day. | ||||||

| Loved the tour and our tour guide Jennifer! The stops were all highly recommended...I could not even tell you my favorite because they were all so tasty. I also loved seeing the neighborhoods and learning more about them. I'm sure to visit this area again as opposed to the standard downtown activities. | ||||||

| The food we had was wonderful, in fact, we went back 3 times during our vacation. Our guide was awesome. He was knowledgeable about all the places we visited and very enthusiastic about the tour. The thing I loved the most was walking through the town and learning about the history and architecture of the buildings. I would highly recomded this tour. P.S. Eat a small breakfast, you will get full! | ||||||

| Great variety of food and drink that I would never have found on my own. Also the feel you get for Chicago neighborhoods and their history was wonderful. Our guide, Kate, was very personable and knowledgable. We had bad weather(first rain then steamy 90plus heat) but it was still a great adventure for our group. | ||||||

| This is a must do in Chicago. The tour shows off some real gems in the northern districts. Our tour guide Jen really made the tour thoroughly enjoyable even though the weather was dreadful (Hail the size of cherry stones!). All of the tasting sessions were both informative and interesting and the portions surprisingly large! Thanks to Chicago Food Planet for such a wonderful adventure! | ||||||

| Apart from enjoying the food tasting, we were able to see different places that normally you would not visit on a "traditional" sightseeing tour of Chicago. It is a different experience to appreciate the beauty of this amazing city. | ||||||

| The history and architecture were fascinating. The shops were unique and intriguing. Not a lot of food along the way but that was ok. A hungry man might be disappointed to be tasting spices, oils and vinegars at two of the stops but seven tastings sounded like it would be too much food anyway. Our tour guide, Ariana was captivating and made it all a lot of fun. I would take other out-of-town visitors on the tour again. | ||||||

| I took my 14-yo daughter on the food tour while we were visiting Chicago. We had a blast! Our tour guide, Ariana was awesome, knowledgeable, and a lot of fun. We got to see a side of Chicago that a normal tourist would never see. I would have loved to have more time to purchase things from the stores we visited. Hopefully, we will be able to visit again. | This was the best experience of our trip to Chicago. We loved this tour! Kent was our guide and he was fantastic. He was so informative and knowledgable. Plus he made it fun! The places we visited were true Chicago places that you read about and never get to see. This section of Chicago is so packed with things to see and places to eat, that you could spend a great deal of time there and still not see it all. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour to anyone who likes to eat and sample new things, and also to anyone who enjoys walking and seeing the different types of architecture. I would definitely take another walking food tour on my next trip to Chicago.. These guys are great! | ||||||
