| Had a great time and saw some really beautiful neighborhoods. I'm fairly new to Chicago and I like learning about the city. Got to sample some great food from local businesses and was introduced to some real gems I might never have found on my own. A great way to spend part of an afternoon! | ||||||

| Tour guide Kate had a genuine passion for Chicago and was full of interesting facts about the city. Tour was a good mix of walking and nibbling so was not overboard on food which was good. We went through lovely Old Town area and sampled olive oil and baslamic vinegar at one of the stops, was interesting and informative! | ||||||

| Although our guide needed to learn to limit his use of the word "awesome," the tour was still a great experience. The tour is a blend of local history and Chicago food combined general "foodie" tidbits that were fascinating - the history of the spice trade, where chocolatiers get their chocolate from, etc. Lots of fun! | ||||||

| Unique tour concept....really enjoyed all the stops....leader Shane was very informative and enthusiastic. I'd suggest just a bit more in the way of food samples....maybe a small side item at the first stop (deli) or the last one (pizzeria) as it does go almost 3 1/2 hours. The option to buy beer flight samples at the pizzeria bar was a nice bonus! | ||||||

| Loved it, but the walk to the last stop was a bit long. Or maybe I was getting a bit tired by then. Nicki was a great tour guide, and I learned much about Chicago, food, and products. | ||||||

| Our girls trip to Chicago wouldn't have been the same without our walking food tour of Bucktown and Wicker Park. What a great way to see another part of Chicago. The tasting stops were delicious, the architecture information was really interesting and our tour guide Ben was the best! My only regret was that we didn't do the tour earlier in our trip so that we could make it back to the neighborhoods to experience some of the restaurants and shops that we learned about on the tour. I would highly recommend this tour if you want to see another part of Chicago other than downtown, eat some fantastic food and learn about two great neighborhoods and how they've come to be. Definitely make this a part of your Chicago experience. | ||||||

| We chose this tour on a whim after seeing an ad on the internet and it turned out to be a really good decision. Kent, our guide, took us to out-of-the way spots where we were able to sample a variety of regional foods. My 13-year old granddaughter had a great time and actually ate and enjoyed foods that we could never get her to touch at home! By the way, she ranked it as "almost as good as the Harry Potter exhibition" - a pretty good rating from someone her age!. Kent is also extremely knowledgeable about local history which made our walk through the neighborhood educational as well as delicious. This was a fun tour and we would definitely consider it again next time we're in Chicago. | ||||||

| This was a great tour -- you get to visit a lot of delicious shops and taste all they have to offer. My one issue I take is with the pizza place in Lincoln Park. While it was so incredibly delicious, there was a long walk in between Old Town to the final stop. I would have liked something in between to break up the distance, or maybe a seperate tour with Lincoln Park? Note you need to eat breakfast as this is not enough for a full meal. But it was a lot of fun! | ||||||

| Our guide was great and gave us alot of "local" history too. We both liked most of the food. The portions were normal size, so we were full by the end of the tour! We've been on two other food tours (NYC & Boston) & were only given samples. I would highly recommend this tour!! | ||||||

| Kerry was an enthusiastic and informative guide for our tour of Wicker Park and Bucktown in Chicago. She has an infectious appreciation for the area's history, culture and commerce. I'd eagerly recommend this and other food tours available through Zerve. | ||||||

| We decided to escape the Texas heat for awhile and do a fun food weekend in Chicago. We thought a food tour might be a good way to check out multiple locations in short order. We were torn between Near North and Bucktown/WP but had heard good things about the Bucktown/WP area, so we went with it. It was so worth it! We were greeted by the best guide ever Ben. Ben was so cheery and friendly -- his awesome attitude MADE the tour. The food was great and very diverse, but Ben's opinions and commentary were the best part of the whole tour. We found ourselves asking 'What would Ben say about this' at every meal for the rest of the weekend! Such a great day, and fabulous food. Our favorite was the rich chocolate drink at Hot Chocolate (the marshmallow melted in your mouth) and the falafel sandwich at Sultan's (really light and fresh). Austin girls heart Ben and thank him for a great day. Keep up the good work -- Ben, you were destined for this job. If you ever get down to Austin, email us and we can take you out for some good Texas BBQ. :) | ||||||

| The tour was a great combination of eating and walking. Our tour guide offered entertaining anecdotes about our surroundings as we toured the local area and all of our tastings were delicious. I would recommend this to anyone looking to explore this part of Chicago and to learn about fun restaurants that might be off the beaten path. | ||||||
