| This tour provided an excellent mix of interactive tastings, foot bound movement through local neighborhoods, relevant and interesting information, and notable information about the city's history. There is a good variety of types of food related venues and they make them all at least somewhat interesting. The food itself is pretty dang good and you get special discounts and coupons. | ||||||

| We met some friends of our in Chicago for a get away weekend. We both have younger families and it was time for a break. We found this tour via Trip Advisor and read several of the reviews. This is a great way to see the city and taste a few things that you might have the opportunity to otherwise. Our tour guide Niki gave us her all. Shew was fantastic as we our hosts. The tour exceeded our expectations. The next time we are in Chicago we will take the Bucktown tour. Nice job! | ||||||

| Not knowing what to expect, we enjoyed every aspect of the tour particularly the trip to the Spice House and Old town Oil, Nicki (not sure of the spelling) our guide kept us all engaged throughout the tour giving us great explanations of not only the food but of the Chicago neighborhoods that we walked through and it's unique architecture. You will not go hungery and will also have a great experience. | ||||||

| Our tour guide, Ben, did a great job providing descriptions of the restaurants/food we sampled as well as interesting commentary on the area history and architecture. His information about area restaurants made us want to spend more time in Wicker Park - we are already planning our next trip to Chicago! | ||||||

| The tour leader for the 11:30am tour was wonderful, happy and informative. Each of the businesses from the Jewish Deli, the Spice shop(with explaination of spices and their useful life), the tea shop was informative, choclate shope was great, and the Pizza was wonderful as a last stop. The explaination of the buildings along the tour was fun and interesting. I highly recomend it. | ||||||

| Living in Chicago all my life and even speding time on the very street we walked, I thought I knew it all....was I wrong!!! The tour took us to places I have passed a hundred times, without ever knowing the treasures which lied within those restaurants and shops. It was fun, informative, and I would recommend to anyone both local and out of town visitors. | ||||||

| Nikki was our host/guide. She was friendly, enthusiastic, responsive AND remembered everyone's name throughout the tour. Lots of fun, educational, informative and GOOD FOOD. A real look at, and taste of, Chicago neighborhoods. We had tastes from great stores featuring freshly ground spices to incredible and exotic cooking oils, to wonderful imported teas, to handmade chocolates . . all in between the Reuben on rye from a Jewish deli and REAL Chicago pizza. | Fantastic tour.. When Henry Ford was in business with Mr. Rockefeller he called MR. R and had a problem with the car line. MR. R flipped a few switches and fixed the problem. MR. R then sent a bill to MR. Ford a bill for $10,000.00. Mr. Ford called and questioned the amount. Mr. R said, OK I will resend the bill. He resent that bill... $1000 for his time to flip a couple of switches $9000 for knowing what switches to flip. Your tour was Fantastic because you know where to go and information about the local shops. ( What switches to flip) I have sent in orders to almost all the food shops and will recommend this tour to all my friends... Ketchup was a joke... no one laughed Dennis Boldt Owner/'Operator Delex Corp dba The Pasta House Co High Ridge MO | ||||||

| nothing like going to food shops that are quaint, quality, and now a discovery to be revisited for that specialty food. the neighborhoods walk with the history and tidbits of the latest were educational and entertaining. I can't wait to do the other tour in Bucktown as I'm done the north one twice now. I bought tickets as birthday gifts to my 2 daughters and brother, what a special out of the ordinary gift and way to enjoy an afternoon with them. Your tours are great and conducted by excellent guides. | ||||||

| Overall we enjoyed the tour. We had a great guide who was entertaining and informative. The walk thru the neighborhoods along with interesting and fun facts about the buildings and people was fun. I would have liked MORE places with food tasting. With that said the spice house was very interesting and the tasting at the olive oil shop was surprisingly good. Too bad there is not enough time to buy goodies. We were visiting from out of town and won't be back for awhile. Of course buying on line is an options but it is not the same. On the negative side I think the last place was too far from the start and there should be a place closer or looping back towards the start. Having to cab back was an added expense I would have liked to avoid. | ||||||

| We really enjoyed our guide, Kent, and the food samples were wonderful. The only stop that I might suggest deleting is catering <> chocolate. It was okay, just not up to par with other stops and seemed out of the place by comparison. | ||||||
