Our guide, Carrie, was charming, knowledgeable, and efficient. She knows the area well, was able to give us some background on the restaurants we sampled and a few that we didn't. The walk thru the neighborhood was really nice, the houses are lovely. The servings were ample, we were FULL!! We would highly recommend this tour, it was the best 3 hours of our trip, we loved it so much we went back the next day!! |

This tour gave us an opportunity to see an area of Chicago that we would not have seen as regular downtown tourists. The food choices were really good and again allowed us to taste things that we would never have tasted.....eg the hot dog and the ice cream. Even tho it rained a good part of the tour the cultural/architectural part was most interesting. |

This was the second time I've done the Bucktown/Wicker Park tour, and I enjoyed it immensely both times. Our guide, Kent, was very informative, and personalized the tour because he has lived in the area for a while. The food stops were nicely spaced with an architectural walk, giving our stomachs a chance to digest before trying the next food sample. Our family group of seven highly recommend this tour. We had an on-again-off-again rainy day, but it didn't spoil the fun. |

The tour was excellent with just the right amount of food mixed in with walking and lots of talking about the history of Wicker Park and Bucktown that you wouldn't be able to do on your own. |

This was the second Chicago Food Planet walking food/architecture tour that our group of women from Arkansas has taken, and we've loved them both. Our guides on both tours have been personable and quite knowledgable about Chicago architecture and history, and the various food tastings have been diversified and fun. Even walking in drizzling rain didn't "dampen" our enjoyment this year!

We had a great time on this food tour despite the rain!! Our guide Alex was awesome & easy to talk to! The only part we didn't like was the very long walk between the second to last & last stop...got a little long : ) |

This is the second time that we have done this tour. The food was a little different and the route was a little different than two years ago but just as much fun. A great way to show off the city to friends that are visiting and they get great food without you having to cook or cleanup! Our tour guide Chris was very informative and kept the information light and interesting. Thanks! |

In addition to learning more about Chicago's hidden culinary treasures, the walk through the picturesque neighborhoods was very pleasant. We had a great guide (Christopher - hope the spelling is correct), very friendly and knowledgeable. Having done the Near North tour we are now considering the China Town and Bucktown tours in the near future. |

This was a great way to get a little bit of history and an overview of a couple of neighborhoods while enjoying local food. We enjoyed all of the places we visited and our host was very friendly and knowledgeable. We would definitely do another one of these. |

This tour was very informative and interesting. I learned a lot about Chinese culture and especially their different styles of cuisine. The food was delicious and our tour guides very friendly and easy to talk to. The tour made a dim sum fan out of me! |

We took a food tour in NYC and now when we travel anywhere that is the first thing we look for. We were not disappointed with this one. Lisa was our guide and she was full of knowledge on the history of the area. We went to 6 restaurants and each was great. We were not hungry in the least. One of the highlights was the original Chicago hot dog. We really enjoyed it. Also the hot chocolate at a place called Hot Chocolate. They made their own marshmallows which was very interesting and yummy. I brought a bottle of water since I usually need to drink a lot with food but there was water available at a couple of stops. We did walk quite a bit so wear comfortable shoes. There are restrooms available at a couple of stops too. I will take the other 2 food tours offered at a later date. They were awesome. |

My wife and I had a good time. The stops were interesting, informative and tasty. It was worth the price. Wear comfortable shoes, there is a lot of walking. We will take other tours offered when in Chicago again. |
