| The tour gives you a good feel for Bucktown/Wicker Park from its history to all the yummy eats. It was a really great way to spend the afternoon. And, they didn't skimp on the food portions! Complaint: When I asked the tour guides where was a good place to eat for Cinqo de Mayo they couldn't even recommend a restaurant, not even the Mexican restaurant on the tour. That just left a bad impression. | ||||||

| I feel like I know more about the Chicago neighborhoods we visited. We are what they call "slow travelers" and enjoy getting to know an area by walking and eating our way through it. This tour really met that criteria. I came home all excited about tea, spices and olive oil. We are already planning on changing some food habits and recipes. | ||||||

| It was a very informative tour with some interesting stops. We saw areas of Chicago we would normally not see and we really enjoyed the tour. | ||||||

| We enjoyed the Bucktown/Wicker park tour. We had also taken the Near North tour so we had high expectations since we enjoyed the other tour so much. We enjoyed all of the places we visited. It was my first Chicago style hot dog so that was a treat. The hot chocolate was unbelievable and the Icream was very interesting. I missed visiting the shops like you do on the other tour and I felt like you got more info on the other tour. I think the tour would be better if they replaced a couple of stops. I didn't like the one with the beet salad and the granola was fine but it is no fun when you can't even go in. | ||||||

| I was in town for a girls' weekend--the Wicker Park tour was a highlight of the weekend! Kent did an awesome job keeping us informed and entertained, and the amount of food was just right! As out-of-towners, we never would have found the Wicker Park/Bucktown area on our own; after experiencing the neighborhood during the tour, we returned with the rest of our group for brunch at Feast and shopping. Delightful!! Only drawback--the granola sample from Milk and Honey seemed pretty chintzy--maybe make a different eatery one of the tastes? It doesn't seem quite right that they get the same coverage as say, George's who welcomed our big group inside. | ||||||

| The tour sounded like a treat. There wasn't too many "tastings". The food wasn't THAT good. Out of 7 spots only 2 were good. It also depends on your age. It seemed that the older people enjoyed it more. Once we hit the 4th spot, I was ready to go home. The pizza on the tour was amazing! It rained, so we were soaked. Architechtural part was informative, but again I wasn't WOW'd | ||||||

The perfect introduction to Chicago

| We were the perfect test group for a tour. Two of us had previously enjoyed a short visit to Chicago, another had only seen a couple of restaurants and the inside of the convention center and I had never been there at all. The tour was informative, fun and very tasty. We also treasure the new resources we were introduced to on the tour. We had a suitcase full of tea and spices to share with friends and family here and are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the oils and vinegars that we had mailed. | ||||||

| Jennifer was great. Very nice and friendly person. I would add a few more places to visit with something very special (like oil and vinegar store). Thank you, very much | ||||||

| Even though the weather didn't cooperate, we had a delightful time on our tour. Kent was very knowledgeable about the area and its history. We definitely would not have visited the Bucktown/Wicker Park area without having scheduled this tour. A trainee, Ben, was extremely friendly (He just needs a bit more practice on his delivery so it sounds more natural.). My only recommendation is to make the tour a little shorter, maybe 2-2 1/2 hrs. | ||||||

| As a visitor from California, it was my husband's and my first trip to Chicago. We absolutely loved the food tour!! I literally knew nothing about this town upon my arrival, and learned so much about the different foods, architecture and culture of the Gold Coast and Lincoln Park neighborhoods. Definitely bring your walking shoes because the tour moves pretty fast, as there are so many yummy foods to try and fabulous places to discover! | ||||||

| Not only did we learn a lot about tea, spices, olive oil and balsamic vinegar and get to sample these (and chocolate!), we got to see and learn about interesting Chicago personalities, history and architecture. Our guides were VERY helpful and knowledgeable. The tour was the most fun of all that we did in Chicago! | ||||||

Good cultural tour and GREAT food tour

| We selected this tour for the tasting experiences and we were delighted. We started out with an opportunity to try out the real Chicago Hot Dog (which was very good indeed). Then, we were flabbergasted with the BEST Hot Chocolate we ever tasted in our whole life. We also had the chance to taste local beer along with a New Haven thin pizza and both were delicious. BUT the best feature in this tour was our visit to iCream cafe. This was a UNIQUE yet ASTONISHING experience. I never imagined tasting such a fresh and unusually flavoured ice cream. If I was living in Chicago, I would be addicted to this place. The only downside to this tour was the Granola cup that was given to us at the beginning of the tour. We did not visit this restaurant (just passed by) so we were disappointed. I would recommend they change this spot for another one if they can't accomodate the visitors inside their business in the middle of the afternoon. The cultural tour was also interesting and our guide (Kent) explained us many things about the Wicker Park and Bucktown areas. Great tour, great selection of restaurants and solid knowledge of the Bucktown / Wicker Park areas' history by the tour guide. | ||||||

| Our guide was well spoken and very knowledgeable. We had the opportunity to sample different foods in Chicago, find out more about it's history, and walk through parts of the city that we would not have otherwise have a chance too. | ||||||
