| The tour guide was great. He was knowledgable and made the tour alot of fun. There wasn't enough food for a real lunch. There was a lot of sweets and snacks. Although i would highly recomend it, we had a great time. | ||||||

| There wasn't a stop on this tour I didn't enjoy. Shane, our tour guide, was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about all of the food we tasted, and I just know I'll revisit every place where we stopped. Even though I'm a Chicagoan, everything I saw and learned gave me a new Chicago experience, and I would recommend this tour to any local who thinks they know everything about what Chicago has to offer. | ||||||

| Loved the tour!! Shane, our guide, was informative and fun. I loved seeing Old Town and the other out of the way neighborhoods. I also learned so much about spices and teas. My friends and I made a special trip the next day to go back to these businesses to get their stuff. It was really one of the highlights of our trip to Chicago. Speaking of Chicago - what a great city. I plan on coming back and I will definitely take this tour again!! | ||||||

| We had no idea what to expect but it was ALL we had hoped for and so much more. Our guide "Shawn" was very informative, spoke plainly and had great interaction skills. There was a wonderful mix of sample tasting and architectural differeces. We were very full at the end of the tour. My thanks to whom ever put this tour together. | ||||||

| Our guide was knowledgeable, and fun. We learned a lot of Chicago history and some of the great places for food and drink (the tasting is wonderful). Have already recommended this tour to friends. A wonderful way to spend 3 hours.Go have a great time. | ||||||

| What a wonderful way to educate students in the field of culinary arts. My students fully enjoyed the experience and it stimuated some to want to pursue a career in many of the fields of food we explored on our tour. Our guide was the best and worked creatively with the students. We all thought he was the best. We are a small downstate school with students in food service and this was the best tour we have ever been on. Thank you for offering such a wonderful experience. | ||||||

| I went on this tour with a group of high school students. The teenagers were all excited about the tour . They are still talking about how neat it was. I thoroughly enjoyed the food, the walk was good , and our guide was tremendous. The walk kept you on the move, but we weren't running to keep up. | ||||||

| My daughter-in-law and I took the tour while our husbands were at a convention in Chicago. I was a lilttle skeptical when I signed us up; I found the site on the internet while searching for things for us to do in Chicago. I had nothing to base my decision on, but the tour sounded interesting. We genuinely enjoyed the tour very much; not even rain deterred our group. Our personal favorite was the gourmet tea experience and the custom spice shop... but the rest of the tastings were all fun, delicious and educational. Our group's leader was Shane - his personality was extremely pleasant and he made everyone in the group feel comfortable. The walking part of the tour was very informative and we saw so much of the north side neighborhoods and what is probably the true flavor of Chicago as it relates to everyday life in a city. | We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and thought our guide, Shane, was knowledgable, enthusiastic, and a great ambassador for Chicago's food and history, It was nice to get off the Miracle Mile and see some of Chicago's neighborhoods and visit places that locals frequent. All the "tastings" were excellent, and I particularly enjoyed the "spice" store which was very unusual and to which we returned to after the tour to make purchases. If I had to complain about something, it would be that we went to too many "sweet" places - started at Ghirardelli Chocolates, had potato pancakes at a deli, sampled tea, visited the aforementioned Spice store, ate chocolate at a fudge/candy store, had fresh baked artisan bread, wonderful pizza, and ended up at a "chocolate lounge." I would have been happier with more savory food samples, but it's hard to complain about too much chocolate. I also liked the list they gave us of local restaurants to try, although I was surprised that Shane had no recommendations for a good place for Italian Beef sandwiches - seems like any foodie going to Chicago would want to know where to go for deep dish pizza, Chicago dawgs, steaks, and Italian beef sandwiches. All in all I would highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to do something a little different in Chicago and to have some good food and see some local neighborhoods, | ||||||

| The weather was rainy and we still enjoyed our day. The walk was so interesting. We learned as tourists that there is more to Chicago than Michigan Avenue and Navy Park. Most of the success was because of the interesting and personable young man that was our leader. He was just great. | ||||||
