| The tour passes by my condo everyday. I signed us up to take advantage of the nice November weather just to get out and about. I was amazed by the knowledge and new places I pass every day but had no idea. Not sure how I have missed the Deli for the 8 years I have lived 3 blocks away. I will be there weekly. I would recommend this tour for both Locals and Tourists | ||||||

| I have lived in Chicago for about 8 years. A friend of mine asked me to join her on this tour. I wasn't even aware that this type of tour existed, so I was anxious to check it out. We had a wonderful day and discovered a number of places we had either forgotten about or never knew about to begin with. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and very fun. We learned so much about our neighborhoods and some of our local merchants. I can't wait to do some of the others available. Local or tourist....this is a great way to spend the day! | ||||||

| I've been going to Bucktown/Wicker Park for shopping, art festivals, dining, etc. for years - but mostly to the same tried and true places. The tour took me to places I might not have tried - and which I fell in love with (and dragged my husband back to the following day!). Not only did I 'discover' some new restaurants and some great new flavors (along with some stellar architecture and history!), but I also 'discovered' some new shops. I ended up staying 3 hours after the tour was over and did my part to stimulate the economy! I HIGHLY recommend this tour to anyone who likes to eat and who lives in a building! (Seriously, I had high expectations based on an article I'd read in Chicago magazine, but the tour surpassed those expectations by a long shot! I LOVED it!) | ||||||

| Not only are you taken to wonderful food related establishments where you learn about their history as well as details behind what they offer but you also get to walk through a couple of great Chicago neighborhoods where they stop to explain the history behind them. This tour was top-notch all the way through! Our tour guide was exceptional. | ||||||

| I went on North side tour a month ago and had a blast so I decided to give a shot for Bucktown tour. Of course I had a very good time again. All my girlfriends who were on the tour with us highly satisfied and had a really good time. Our tour guide, Ben, he was funny and nice. He explained well about food and history of Bucktown and pointed out couple of his interest in town. We couldn't ask any better. My friend is coming town to visit me again and I'm definately taking him on the tour. Hm North or Buck town? I liked North better because I got to know better about the city and its history. BUT we talked too long...and I much preferred the food choices on Buck town tour. | ||||||

| The was a wonderful experience to leisurely walk around the neighborhoods and taste some awesome, delicious foods and learn some history of the area. The i cream and hot chocolate, the pizza, the wraps well just all of the stops were a taste treat. Will do it again when friends come to visit. What a fun way to spend 3 hours out of your day in touring and tasting in Chicago neighborhoods. | ||||||

| What a terrific time we had on this tour. Not only was the food incredible, the tour guide was energetic, fun and extremely knowledgable on the architecture, folklore, and history of the area. Not only did we have a great time on the tour, I will be taking my family back down to enjoy a number of the stops along the way. This is a fantastic tour I would rank as one of the best in the entire city! | ||||||

| I live in the suburbs of Chicago and when my brother came to visit from California, I looked for activities that I thought he and I would like. We were extremely pleased with the tour. Our favorite stops were the oil and vinegar shop and the tea shop, mainly because we learned something at both shops. I will revisit these stores. We also enjoyed walking in the three different neighborhoods. But mostly the tour ended up being so enjoyable because of our tour guide. She was very friendly and made everyone feel at ease. | ||||||

| One of the most interesting and fascinating experiences. Our guide, Nicky, made us feel as if we were on a private tour with her. Her comments about the history of the neighborhoods we visited were informative and enjoyable. We've lived in the Greater Chicago area (Vernon Hills) for 11 years but were unaware of the sites we visited. We plan to recommend the tour to allof our out-of-town visitors. We have already recommended it to our neighbors and local friends. | ||||||

| I highly reccommend this tour for anyone interested in Chi town neighborhoods! I booked this tour for my friend's bhirthday. We have been to Chi town numerously and always wanted to wander and browse other neighborhoods but never knew where to begin. This tour was a great tutorial. Our guide, Jennifer was terrific! Knowledgeable, courteous, engaging, and informative. We can hardly wait until next spring so that we can book the Bucktown and Wicker park tour. Everyone always thinks Chicago is just State street and Michigan Avenue. There is so much more to this diverse city. Thanks again and see you in this spring! Wendy Ossola | ||||||

| My boyfriend and I went on the Near North Food Tour and we loved it so much, we are planning on taking the Bucktown/Wicker Park Food Tour come spring time! Let me start off my saying, the stops are broken up nicely so a lot of the heavier eating is at the beginning and at the end. You also walk about a mile and a half during the afternoon so you don't feel too guilty about your afteroon of gluttony. Our tour guide was Nicki and she was awesome. Super friendly and imformative. It was obvious she loved what she did and we truly could not have asked for a better tour guide for the afternoon. Our first stop was my favorite-Ashkenaz Deli. My boyfriend is Jewish and from Chicago and never knew this gem was here! We will definitely be back for more! Our second stop was Tea Geschwender. Im not a huge tea drinker so I was pleasently surprised by the yummy tea we sampled. Next, we wandered over to Wells Street in Old Town, learning about some of the history of the neighborhoods along the way. We stopped inside The Spice House, Old Town Oil, The Fudge Pot and Catering Chocolate. All great little shops that I have walked by a million times, but never stopped in. Glad I got to experience them! Ended the tour at in Lincoln Park at Bacinos for some delcious Chicago style pizza. Having lived in Chicago for the past 2 years and taking the tour with my boyfriend who grew up in the area, it proves even locals will appreciate it. We learned some fun facts about Chicago and visited places that we may have not gone to on our own. We both highly recommend it for people visiting as well as people who live here. Definitely one of the more unique things I have done in Chicago recently! | ||||||
