A fun way to see some local sights, learn about Chicago, and eat some good food. You will also learn about local restaurants, and food shops. Fun and relaxing.

I had a wonderful time at the tour..it combined the gastronomic and historical! Our guide was very informative and knowledgable about the area. My favorites were the hot chocolate and hot dogs! Helped that the weather was great.. I would like to have experienced more eateries although perhaps its difficult to do in 3 hours. Overall the food tour is a must try especially if youre new to the area...its a great introduction to the neighborhood and a chance to try some great food!

Not only did the Bucktown/Wicker Park tour include really yummy food (the Hot Chocolate was amazing; I was not expecting to be impressed by a drink, but DANG!), but it also involved a bunch of information about the history and architecture of the area. Such a nice surprise!

It was cold and rainy the day we went, but after the tour we were so glad that we went. It was very informative and the food was very good. We enjoyed everything so much that after the tour we went back and bought a bunch of the things that we tried. Nicki and Ariana (sorry if spelled wrong) made a dreadful day into a great experience. Well worth it!

GREAT TOUR!

My girlfriends and I booked the tour because of the food.... but we got so much more! Our guide was great! We learned lots of information about the city in a "fun setting" and made new friends. The day after our tour we ran into some of the people at a different place and it was fun to recognize each other. The pizza at the end of the tour was simply amazing, as well as the other items along the way. Would highly recommend!

Excellent tour, but still hungry at the end

It was not hard to figure out why this tour is ranked number #1 on Trip Advisor. The walking tour combines unique food tastings with culture and architecture. We were fortunate to have an energetic small group and an excellent and knowledgeable guide. It is a must do tour in Chicago. However, don't be fooled; enough food is not served on this food, unless you are a very light eater. Be sure to eat a full breakast. Suggested additions to make it close to a real meal: mini sandwiches to go with the potato pancakes at the Jewish Deli; bread and/or salad to go with the delicious combinations of oils and vinegars at Old Town Oil; and an additional thin slice of pizza to go with your deep dish at Bacino's Pizza.

Review of Tour

I thought the tour was nice and enjoyed learning more about Chicago. To advertise it as a food tour is sort of misleading given that we only got a slice of pizza, potato cake and candy. I believe the one in bucktown has more restaurants but that should be outlined and explained.

We had a great time on the food cultural tour! Even though it was cold and raining, we still managed to enjoy ourselves. Most of us were from out of town, but we did have one local person in our group. We all had a great time and would highly recommend it to others. We learned so much and really enjoyed this experience. Thank you so much! Jen was great!

I've lived in Chicago for 10 years and find it harder and harder to find interesting and fun things to do when family comes in to visit for a weekend, as we've done all the usual "chicago sites" time and time again. When a friend recommended this I thought it sounded like something not only my guests would enjoy, but also give me a chance to experience things in the city I've never had the chance to before. And that's exactly what it was. Our guide, Jen, was super friendly, bubbly and knowledgable about the city and really made the experience for us. Even though it was a rainy day, Jen never let that slow us down, and I barely noticed the inclement weather with all the good food we were eating! My family couldn't wait to go back to our favorite stops on the tour and do a little shopping and more eating. They loved it and haven't stopped raving about it. Great tour, great guides, highly recommend for anyone!

Shane was our tour guide on this beautiful day in Chicago. We had a girl's weekend and this was one of the hightlights of our trip. Although we had been to Chicago many times, this tour was in an area of town we had never been to. Shane was very personable and gave great information about the architecture of the area as well as the shops we went into. We all loved it, and would highly reccommend it to anyone visiting Chicago.
