I'm from Chicago but love being a tourist in my own city. This tour was enjoyable, educational, and delicious. I highly recommend it! |

As parents touring with adult children, we thoroughly enjoyed the cultural aspects of the area as well as the food. |

We had first taken this tour in 2008 and liked it so much that we needed to take the tour again on our next visit to Chicago. Both the food portion and the architectural tidbits are very informative. |

We travel to Chicago for a long weekend every couple of years and we've done most of the tourist attractions. This is by far the best tour we've ever done in Chicago. Wonderful food and lots of information and interesting neighborhood shops. Highly recommended. |

Kent our guide/food enthusiast was very well informed and remained enthusiastic through the entire tour. He mingled with all and answered all our questions in the most informed manner. |

I had done the near north tour 2 years ago and couldn't wait to do the wicker park tour. The food stops are unique local fare, things I wouldn't even know about as a tourist. Kent, or guide was amazing. Very knowledgable. I love learning about the history of the area just as much as I love trying the food. |

My husband and I had a wonderful time on the tour. Our guide, Jess, was very knowledgeable and well spoken, I feel we left Chicago with a better appreciation of the town, it's history, neighborhoods and culture. I think this tour is really for anyone, even if you are from Chicago. The food tastings were wonderful and filling and the stores were very unique. I never would have found them. The handout is very helpful, and I will keep it to explore other suggested areas in Chicago. Again great tour and great guide! |

My wife and I really enjoyed the wonderful walk, food testing and culture of Chicago. Our host was incredibe, giving us wonderful tidbits of information as we passed beautiful residential areas. Plenty of time was given at each eatery stop where the item that we would be sampling was described well. Overall a great tour and a great way to see some of chicago off the beaten path. Do take note that this is a walking tour so be sure to be smarter than I was and wear comfortable shoes and not sandles. My wife and I's favorite part was the jewish deli, we both really enjoyed it and went back a couple days later before we left to get another wonderful pastrami rueben. Thanks Again, had a wonderful time. Looking forward to doing another tour next time we visit chicago. |

Interesting tour with a variety of tastings though not as much food as the Wicker Park/Bucktown tour. The tour had interesting stops at the tea shop, oil and spice shops (all very interesting samplings) but no food so for the $, the Wicker Park/Bucktown a better choice for the cost. |

I thought this tour was great. It allowed us to venture into a fantastic neighborhood that we would unlikely discover on our own. We enjoyed the tour so much that we returned on another day to walk and have lunch. However, I will say that we were not a fan of the first stop; a hot dog shop. The restaurant was dirty, especially the bathroom. |
