| I highly reccommend this tour for anyone interested in Chi town neighborhoods! I booked this tour for my friend's bhirthday. We have been to Chi town numerously and always wanted to wander and browse other neighborhoods but never knew where to begin. This tour was a great tutorial. Our guide, Jennifer was terrific! Knowledgeable, courteous, engaging, and informative. We can hardly wait until next spring so that we can book the Bucktown and Wicker park tour. Everyone always thinks Chicago is just State street and Michigan Avenue. There is so much more to this diverse city. Thanks again and see you in this spring! Wendy Ossola | ||||||

| My boyfriend and I went on the Near North Food Tour and we loved it so much, we are planning on taking the Bucktown/Wicker Park Food Tour come spring time! Let me start off my saying, the stops are broken up nicely so a lot of the heavier eating is at the beginning and at the end. You also walk about a mile and a half during the afternoon so you don't feel too guilty about your afteroon of gluttony. Our tour guide was Nicki and she was awesome. Super friendly and imformative. It was obvious she loved what she did and we truly could not have asked for a better tour guide for the afternoon. Our first stop was my favorite-Ashkenaz Deli. My boyfriend is Jewish and from Chicago and never knew this gem was here! We will definitely be back for more! Our second stop was Tea Geschwender. Im not a huge tea drinker so I was pleasently surprised by the yummy tea we sampled. Next, we wandered over to Wells Street in Old Town, learning about some of the history of the neighborhoods along the way. We stopped inside The Spice House, Old Town Oil, The Fudge Pot and Catering Chocolate. All great little shops that I have walked by a million times, but never stopped in. Glad I got to experience them! Ended the tour at in Lincoln Park at Bacinos for some delcious Chicago style pizza. Having lived in Chicago for the past 2 years and taking the tour with my boyfriend who grew up in the area, it proves even locals will appreciate it. We learned some fun facts about Chicago and visited places that we may have not gone to on our own. We both highly recommend it for people visiting as well as people who live here. Definitely one of the more unique things I have done in Chicago recently! | ||||||

| I enjoyed the Wicker Park/Bucktown tour quite a bit. I gave this tour as a bday gift to a friend of mine who also lives here, but hadn't gone to some of the tasting locations yet.... I thought it was well-thought out and our tour guide was fantastic. One note that had nothing to do with the tour but maybe those of you who are local and bring a guest or out of towner ... being a know-it-all is not cool and not fun for the rest of the group. I have lived here for 7 years and hang out in WP/Bucktown all the time. Most of the restaurants I've been to but some of the architectural tour was pretty fun and still new to me... we had one person in our group, though, who had to comment at every single stop along the way how they'd already been there, what THEY liked best about the place and basically monopolized the tour, it seemed. Maybe it was just me ... and my friend ... but that gets tiring. We get it, you live here. Now, pipe down and let others enjoy it on their own. I wasn't exactly learning a ton of new things about the restaurants in the neighborhood, either, but I don't see the need in trying to upstage the tour guide... Really, take the tour, don't try to take OVER the tour. Other than that, it's a great tour for anyone new to the area or if you have family and friends that you want to impress .. tons of food! | ||||||

| The Near North Food Tour was very enjoyable. The guide was very knowledgeable of the area and of the establishments. She was very enthusiastic and attentive to everyone in our group. I really liked that it touched on alot of the stores and restaurants but also on some of the stores and restaurants unique to the area (not chains). It was very nice to leisurely walk the different neighborhoods and view/learn about the buildings, the people and the area. Overall, it was just a great experience and I look forward to participating on other tours offered. | ||||||

| I surprised my best friend by taking her along this food tour in the always exciting Bucktown/Wicker park neighborhood. I must say that this tour is a MUST DO if anyone is visiting Chicago! The food selection and what we ate we're definitely not "sample" size by any means. Tasting quality food of large portions were definitely a deal for the amount I paid for our tour tickets. Ben was our tour guide who had an outgoing personality. The three hour tour never had a dull moment and it truly was a great way to spend the day! It was a well-balanced planned event from the food tasting to the educational cultural part of the tour. Our husbands were so jealous looking at our pictures that we all planned on coming back together to feast again very soon! | ||||||

| Living in Chicago all my life and even speding time on the very street we walked, I thought I knew it all....was I wrong!!! The tour took us to places I have passed a hundred times, without ever knowing the treasures which lied within those restaurants and shops. It was fun, informative, and I would recommend to anyone both local and out of town visitors. | ||||||

| The tour was incredible. Jen was wonderful. I brought my Aunt visiting from California we bothed loved the tour. The best part was the olive oil store, which we went back a few days later to make a purchase. It was raining all day yet Jen's super sweet attitude made it a sunny day. Her knowledge of the area was great. Loved her stories. The ONLY think I would change was the chocolate catering place, which we were not impressed with at all. We will be taking the other food tasting tour the next time my Aunt is in town. I hope we have Jen as our guide! Thank you for an awesome day. | ||||||

| My Husband and I had an Awesome experience. It came recommendd to us from a friend who had recently participated and everything she said was true. The young lady who served as our tour guide was so informative. She knew everything there was to know about the areas, restaurants and even off beat questions that arose from attendees. She was very personable and genuine. The food was Awesome as well; so much so, that after the tour ended, we went back to Georges' for another meal. Every place we went offered more in its experience than just the food. Although my Husband is a native Chicagoan, he said if he'd never taken the tour he wouldn't even know that some of these places existed. It opened his eyes to so much even though he says he's probably driven or walked passed these establishments a hundred times. The walk itself was not overwhelming. It was as if we were strolling through our own neighborhood site seeing. After being exposed to so much history and culture I can consider myself a mini historian educated enough to tell others. | ||||||

| The whole activity was done wonderfully. The food stops were very interesting and varied. The walk was the right length. The tour guide was nice, informative and fun. The price was reasonable. I have been recommending it to people right and left since I went. I am very interested in trying some of your other tours based on this one. | ||||||

| We enjoyed the mix or history/architecture as well as the food. The restaurant choices were great and our guide, Kent, was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic and fun. We all bought our tickets separately but 11 of us were friends looking for more insight to our great city and this did the trick. Wonderful! | ||||||

| Highly suggest to bring or buy a beverage for the tour. Would have kille dfor the french fries wiwth the Dog. Way to chocolatey at chocolate, a waste for them. Pizza was good a abundant, Mediterranean was a bit rushed and too much food after where we had been. Always room for I Cream! that was great. Very informative, enthusiastic tour guide. | ||||||
