Chicago Pizza Tours

This is a great tour! Definitly recommend it to locals and tourists, be ready to have fun!

My mom and I flew to Chicago for a girls weekend. The pizza tour was a highlight of the trip! We had four stops and six slices of pizza. We were very full by the time we were done and we felt like we had seen lots of the city. The tour leader was very personable and was a wealth of pizza and non-pizza knowledge. I would recommend this tour for sure.

I had a great time on the tour! I was visiting the city for the first time by myself and I didn't have a car so I was worried if I would be able to really get to see the city and what it was all about. Going on this tour was the best thing I could have done. Not only did I get to eat (and eat I did!), but John was very informative about the areas of the city we drove through, so I really got to see and learn about places I wouldn't have gotten to see on foot. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone that likes to double task and kill two birds with one stone (eat AND tour).

I would like to start by saying this was probably one of the best tours Ive been on. In fact I did twice in the past month, and will go back again. The tour guides were beyond awesome with an excellent sense of humor and knowledge of not only pizza, but Chicago as well ( I would hope so with them being from Chicago, and besides, it's in the book of rules). The guides knew how engage with the group and cater to everyone's interest, no matter what age. I was really impressed on how they could remember everyone's name! The pizza portion was excellent, being able to have different styles of pizza from four unique pizza restaurants was amazing. Every place had its own distinct style and story. The guides knew their pizza, I can definitely tell why they started this tour. The tour also reminded me that I am a " pizza lover", not just a fanatic. So if you have 3hrs and want to take part on a really cool tour with eating pizza and seeing why Chicago has the best pizza, this is a tour not to be missed!

Absolutely loved this tour. From the moment we arrived we felt like a part of a great group of people. Jon made sure that everyone knew everyone else's name (not sure how he remembered everyone, but he did!). The pizza chosen from each restaurant was completely different from the others - so much so that we couldn't pick a favorite. Jon did a great job keeping us entertained as we drove around Chicago and the driver did a fabulous job of navigating around road closures and traffic. Highly recommend.

My husband and I had a great time. Jon really knows his pizza! Very informative. Food was yummy. We were able to try 4 new pizza places and (for us) a new type of pizza, which we both enjoyed. I am recommending this tour to my friends! We will do this tour again to try some of the other pizza places offered.

Jonathan knows his stuff. He has sampled over 900 pizzarias in Chicago and has landed on a handful that let you experience the full gamut of Chicago style pizza. From deep dish to polish, andouille to sauerkraut. An entertaining guide to the areas of the city we passed in the 50 some odd blocks we traveled. We were so stuffed at the end of this carb carnival, we had to take a nap before we left for home. A fun experience that is weather independent. A definite recommendation.

Highly recommend the tour for all groups of people. I went on the tour last summer with my brother and his wife and loved it so much that we brought our parents this summer. Johnathon is an awesome tour guide and can share a lot of information about all different types of pizza. The tour is definitely worth the money....highly recommend it.

Our family decided what better outing in Chicago then a Pizza Tour! It was a great experience with even better Pizza throughout the day! The tour guide, John, was very knowledgeable on each restaurant and the process which they make the pizza. Also, we really liked the kitchen tours, and how each restaurant provided a different style of pizza. I would recommend this tour to any/all pizza lovers out there!

We were 3 couples in Chicago for the weekend (2 1/2 days), so "hit the ground running." Tour looked interesting, and had positive previous reviews, so we included it in our plans, and we were all glad we did! All 6 of us agree that it was easily the favorite thing we did all weekend. John, the owner and our guide, was fantastic and fun. The pizzerias chosen were very different, but all highly rated and provided excellent pizzas to taste. Will do this again the next time I'm in Chicago.

We were on a 4 day trip to Chicago and decided to do the Pizza tour. I picked this particular tour based on all the amazing reviews on Yelp. The tour definitely lived up to all those rave reviews online. I think what made the tour really awesome was our guide and owner John. He is very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor. He has done a lot of research on Pizzas and the city of Chicago. So you learn a lot about the city itself. I think John really helped us fall in love with Chicago and the different Pizzas the city has to offer. Thanks a lot John !!!! I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Chicago

Learned lots about chicago along with interesting trivia from our tourguide Jonathon. he was very entertaining and friendly making sure everyone had a great time. Was looking forward to taking the tour but was pleasantly surprised how much both my husband and I enjoyed it!

This tour was a gift for us from a family member. We enjoyed it so much we are telling everyone we can about it. The tour guide was delightful, and knew so much about each place we visited. My husband and I also enjoyed the trivia about Chicago landmarks between pizza stops. Everything from start to finish was delicious, and the portions were more than fair. There was even a bit extra, which was passed around to anyone who wanted seconds. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is visiting Chicago, or new to town looking to explore.
