Chicago Pizza Tours

The 3 hour tour was perfect in every way - tour guide was knowledgeable, warm and friendly with good sense of humor, personable, efficient, and chose a perfect combination of various pizzas to enjoy. The tour was educational and, in addition to enjoying the pizza at each locality, we enjoyed the information and stories that were shared. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who loves pizza! We plan to return to all of the places that were visited.

From the moment you arrive until the moment you leave you know you made the right choice, in booking the tour. You are greated with thanks and kindness all the way. Every momemnt is planed out and you are enjoying it so much you forget about time and before you know it the tour with the enjoyable times, begins to close and you know at the moment you will be telling your friends all about the event. The tour was just a great way to spend time with our family and freinds. Its great to taste the diff. pizzas and know their locations. We had a GREAT time,it beats sitting in the same bar all night. Loved it !!!!!!!!!

I was impressed! The guide was knowledgeable about all kinds of pizza and history. The selection of pizza restaurants are just very good for people who do not live in Chicago. The tour took 3 hours, visiting 4 pizza restaurants. We had a few pieces of pizza every 30-45 minutes, giving my body enought time to digest.

Overall the guide was fantastic and the tour of the city was great. The driver was late but still got through all four pizza places within the three hours. Lots of pizza, wish UNO was on the list... but over great variety and was stuffed at the end

Our tour guide Mike did an excellent job entertaining, informing and educating us about pizza in particular and Chicago in general. He was funny and we enjoyed his stories about the various narratives of Chicago history. The group traveling with us was a blast also and added to the pleasant experience of the tour. The pizza and restaurants were diverse and it was fun to taste the differences. We really had high expectations for this tour and were not disappointed. Thank you Mike, Jim and fellow tour folks.

Exactly as we expected and hoped. A nice assortment of restaurants and pizza types. I really can't imagine how anyone would be disappointed in this tour ... pizza - check, cocktails - check, shuttle bus drops us off at the door - check. We met a nice group of people who joined us on the tour, the host was a great guy, and we finished the night stuffed and smiling.

We had a blast on this tour. Plenty of pizza to go around and good conversation with other guests. Tour guide made it enjoyable, too.

The pizza places we went to were all delicious and all very different styles which made the experience a lot more fun. Got some good information about the history of pizza in Chicago as well as lots of random Chicago facts as we were going from place to place on the bus. The tour guide and bus driver were both knowledgeable and entertaining.

This is a must-do for any serious pizza lovers! While there is a a great deal of information the tour guide shares about all things pizza, there is also a great tour of Chicago neighborhoods between pizza stops. We did Pizano's, Coalfire, Pequod's, and Flo & Santo's. While Pizano's got our vote for best deep dish and Coalfire for best thin crust, each pizzeria was unique and offered great pizza. Don't eat a big breakfast before your tour!

My wife and I had a ton of fun on this trip. Kevin our guide was very knowledgeable and a fantastic host. Our driver Jim, was also very knowledgeable on the area, pizza, etc. We had a whole bus to ourselves and one other couple. Kevin would call ahead and make sure they were ready so by the time we got there we had a place to sit and were ready to eat. One caution... pace yourself!!!! I had sooooo much pizza, I highly recommend this tour!!!

Being out of town (California) gave me the disadvantage as to where to eat 'the best' Chicago pizza. By joining this tour, my taste buds were in the hands of John, a Chicago local and tour owner. I was not disappointed. The tour took us to four amazing places, each using unique ingredients and styles of baking this amazing pie. I even went back on a later day to my favorite pizza place from the tour. I would recommend this tour to any out-of-towner or local. Add this tour to your 'things to do in Chicago' list. You won't regret it.
