Chicago Pizza Tours

Very informative, lots of fun, and lots of great pizza! What a great tour! I ate the best pizza, that I have ever tasted, and learned lots about pizza and the history of Chicago pizzarias. Our tour guide, Mike, did a great job of educating and entertaining us. Don't miss out on this tour!!

Chicago Pizza Tours were fabulous. I love Jon- he was so knowledgeable about pizza and Chicago history. The tour took us to 4 different pizza venues around town. We got to try everything from Deep Dish to Thin Crust. I would recommend this to anyone coming to Chicago. It's a must! - Hailey

My husband, 18 and 21 year old sons and myself were recently in Chicago for five days. We did lots of fun things but probably enjoyed our Pizza Tour the most. While it would be a great tour for all but the youngest kids, it was a particularly good activity for families with teenagers or young adults. The guide, John, was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We had no idea there is so much to know about pizza but he has really done his homework. He also knows a lot about Chicago and gives interesting information along the way. It goes without saying that the pizza was awesome. We liked one place so much that we went back for dinner the next day. The last thing I will add is to be sure to come hungry and don't make any plans for dinner after the tour!

Jon is the "Man" The best pizza tour you could ever imagine. And some of the best pizza my wife and I ever ate. We are pizza freaks. You won't go hungy. And his knowledge of pizza is fantastic. We both learned alot in his tour.This is a MUST tour. Thanks so much Jon.

Our group of four tourists of Chicago had THE best time on this tour! Not only was the pizza great but the experience along the way was fantastic! John gave a sightseeing tour during our drive to each pizzeria. Including information about different areas of Chicago. John is a great tour guide. He was made for his job. Book the tour. Believe me, it's a blast for anyone who likes pizza!

We were visiting Chicago from Kansas City. We were traveling with 4 teenagers. 2 visiting from Hamburg Germany and English is their 3rd language. The passion for all things Pizza and the pride in Chicago made the tour great. Good way to see the parts of the city that are not on the boat tours. We took the lunch tour and met a very nice couple. I know we are having fun when my kids are not asking about "when is this over Dad". I would take this tour again. My only advise is if you love a pizza go ahead and eat the 2nd slice. Plenty of time to recover on the way to the next restraunt. The girls were all stuffed at one slice per stop. Jeff David - KC - Missouri

Good food, get to see a bit of Chicago too. Good value. Highly recommend.

My parents and I were visiting Chicago for the weekend and of course we wanted to try the famous deep dish pizza. This tour is a great way to try a variety of pizzas along with a little history of the city while you are being ferried from place to place. Jon was our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable on pizza and the Chicago area. Very entertaining and a nice break from typical site seeing in the city. Also make sure you are ready for lots of pizza, its called a pizza tour for a reason. We ended up going to 4 places and were able to try 6 different pizzas, we were stuffed by the end... but it was worth it! Mmmmmm We definitely recommend.

Who knew that Chicago had more to offer pizza enthusiasts than the traditional deep dish? The tour was delicious from start to finish with several different styles of pizza offered. We had deep dish and thin crust at Pizano's, a delicious Italian Beef and Giardiniera and also a Polish pizza at Flo & Santos, an absolutely authentic Neapolitan pizza from Nella's, and of course a very traditional deep dish at Pequod's. Our tour guide, John, and our driver Herb were also excellent. John was an excellent guide, telling us all he knew about the pizza in a fun, memorable way. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a great time in Chicago. This tour is great for families, businesses, rehearsal dinners, reunions, bachelor parties, etc. What a great way to celebrate my husband's birthday!

Pizanos's pizza is the best pizza in chicago hands down! Tour was well worth the money. Highly recommended...

Not much to say other than the tour is fun. The pizza is fantastic, and you easily get enough food. The tour guide was engaging and friendly.

This was a fun way to get to try a variety of pizzas in Chicago that we would have never gotten to see on our own. The guide was great. The only critique I would say is how hot the bus was which made it very uncomfortable between tour stops. Air may have been broken -- not sure.

We went on the tour for my sisters bachelorette party. She likes pizza so we thought this would be great. I must say we all had a far better time than any of us even anticipated. We are all locals, but some of the places we went to were new to us and man am I glad. Definitely found a new favorite and learned some really neat things! I would definitely recommend this tour to all my friends! 2 thumbs up!

John was very informative and loves his pizza! We had a great time! Enjoyed the others on the tour and the pizza was very different at all the locations. A variety of pizzas told the whole story. Would highly recommend and the next time I'm in Chicago I will be taking this tour again. Congrats to John for a unique experience.
