Chicago Pizza Tours

the evening was a surprise to my husband for his birthday. He is a "pizza snob" and he (we) loved all of the different pizzas. It was so much fun to spend the evening with 4 other couples that we had never met before. The pizza was great at all of the locations. We felt welcome at all 4 spots that we visited. We did not feel rushed and were truly able to enjoy our evening. Having 1 drink at each location was PLENTY! It was a really fun night and i would recommend it to all of our family and friends.

We are BIG pizza lovers, so the minute we saw there was a pizza tour in Chicago we had to go.. Good thing we did! This tour is fantastic. The pizza was delicious, the group was lovely, the driver was super cool, and most importantly Jon is the best pizza guide in Town! We went to the very best places, got great explanations from Jon and some of the owners, saw the kitchens, and ate pizza till we wanted to die. We also learned a lot about Chicago in the process! Even if you have a very short time in Chicago, don't miss this tour ey? Noam, Israel.

Had fun on this pizza tour, but at times, we weren't able to try all the different pizzas - they are laid out family style, so when others grabbed more than one piece or if we were the last in line, we weren't able to try that certain type of pizza. The tour was informative, and the tour guide and bus driver were funny. I don't think I would have had as much fun without the cocktails!

I would definitely recommend the tour to other people. It is a great way to get to some pizza places that you otherwise wouldn't have known about. Loved the food but also loved the unexpected part of getting a bit of a tour of Chicago and experiencing some of the different neighborhoods while we were at it. Good for tourists and locals.

A must do for friends and family. The tour offered delicious food, humor, and Chicago history. Well worth it!

From beginning to end, we enjoyed every minute. If you are a Pizza lover, this tour will definately tick all the boxes. Not only do you get to enjoy many variations of pizza, you actually get to learn a lot too. What's more, this tour is so personal, by the end, not only did we have full bellies, but we'd made some friends along the way. John makes it all happen and shares some interesting information which you wouldn't ordinarily get on another tour in Chicago. And not to forget Jim, the driver, it wouldn't be the same without him! A great duo. Don't hesitate to book your tickets, great value for money, you won't be disappointed.

This was a great tour that offered so much more bang for the buck than anything else we did on our trip. Blue Man Group was over-rated and over-priced in comparison. We got great pizza with informative hosts at each establishment that offered its' own unique perspective on the pie. Our guide was entertaining and offered information on the city, buildings, and history in addition to everything you ever wanted to know about pizza. You will not regret this time that's well spent.

Our family really enjoyed the pizza tour. John was informative not only about the pizza but of Chicago. It was a great way to fill our bellies and our minds :-)

My wife and I loved the pizza tour! It was our favorite part of a recent two day stay in Chicago. The pizzas were delicious, especially what we ate at Spacca Napoli. Jon was a wonderful tour guide. He had all of our names memorized by the time we arrived--impressive! He knows his pizza well too. Lots of fun. Lots of food. A wonderful way to spend three hours in Chicago!

I've gone on about 6 food tours since living in Chicago. I enjoy the walking component to them so as to walk off some of the overconsumption - which was different in this tour - I think I like walking better than being shuttled. I had a good time trying the pizza, however, I wish I could have seen the agenda before choosing this tour because I'd already been to 2/4 stops, which made me feel like this was a waste of money. I also probably only tried 2 slices in total as I didn't like the last two stops Red Flame and Pequods. I also feel that a more competitive price would be $45. There was also little information provided about the city or pizza spots that I've experienced in other food tours. The guide was friendly and knowledgable but I would't do this tour again.

I have been to Chicago several times now and wanted to do something different while I was out there this time around. We couldn't have been more pleased with our decision to take this tour, Jon the tour guide was unbelievable and was so enthusiastic about every place we visted. My favorite place was a new stop on the pizza tour Spacca Napoli which is neopolitan style pizza which uses fresh buffalo mozzarella on their pizzas which was to die for. I highly reccomend this tour if you are either visiting Chicago or are local.

This sums up our recent Chicago Pizza Tour. You EAT the most delicious selection of pizzas at a variety of the City's best pizzeria's (including the ones that are still a best kept secret!). You PRAY that at each pit stop there will be slices left over so that you can indulge your taste buds in further sensory overload. You LOVE every minute of the experience! John, the company Founder, was an outstanding tour guide, who was knowledgeable on all things pizza, informative on all things Chicago trivia and an all round great guy to spend time with. Had a superb group, which included 12 other pizzaholics, so the 'therapy' benefits should also be noted. One of the places we visited was SO incredibly good, that we made the journey back there the next day to devour a whole pizza (each!) on our way to the airport. Says it all ;)
