Chicago Pizza Tours

The pizza tour was great. It was more than just about pizza. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and had lots of interesting facts which he entertained us with. I'd recommend it....

Our tour guide was fun, informative and easy-going. We were a group of 10 (+1 who fit in great with us) so we didn't need any time spent on getting to know each other. I think that was a little bit of a curve ball for our tour guide but he adapted quickly! The restaurants selected were unique and the pizza was great. Going into it, we thought the price was kind of high but after doing the tour I truly felt that it was worth the money spent. Fun time and I would recommend it to anyone.

We had a wonderful time on our pizza tour! Jonathan was extremely knowledgeable about all things pizza and Chicago. He was such a good sport when it came to my comedian of a father (Frank/Gregg). Jonathan really fostered a good fun group atmosphere, we had a great time with our tour-mates. We really enjoyed that he took us to places that weren't the typical tourist places (besides Pizano's, but you can't have a pizza tour without going there in my opinion!). We are from the far northwest suburbs so it was great to try places that we can actually go back to on our own time that we might not have heard of otherwise. Every pizza place we went was GREAT. It was so much food, go with an empty stomach! I have, and will continue to, recommend Chicago Pizza Tours to friends and family!

I bought this pizza tour as something fun for my husband and i to do. We are from the suburbs so we were a little hesistant about going on a pizza tour of our own City. However, the Origional Chicago Pizza Tour exceeded our expections! The tour guide/ owner was so entertaining to listen to and very knowledgable about the city. We tasted pizza from places we had never had before and ended with one of our local favorites. I highly recomend this tour....you wont be disappointed! We had a blast!

This tour was everything we expected and more! Yes, YOU GET TO EAT A LOT OF PIZZA--and it is all DELICIOUS!!! They are quite different from one restaurant to the next--hard to pick a favorite, but all soooo gooood!!! We even got to go into the kitchens in a couple of the places. John is a super nice guy, is extremely knowledgeable about all the pizzas and restaurants on the tour, and also provides interesting info about Chicago while riding on the bus. We had lots of fun, ate fabulous pizza, and will definitely do this tour again next time we are in town!!

The Pizza tour was amazing! i would deffinately recommend it to everyone. It is alot of food and even more fun! John knows what he is talking about and he does a great job showing the wide variety of amazing pizza in the City of CHICAGO. John does a good job showing the little neighborhood places and even works in a Pizza Chain occasionally. the tour was purchased as a Birthday gift to my fiance and he said it was the best birthday present he has ever gotten. The tour is great even if the weather isn't because you are taken from restaurant to restaurant on the Chicago Pizza tour Bus. The tour we went on covered a distance of 25 miles and it never seemed like we were in the bus too long. john does a great job of filling the time up with facts, stories and even some pizza themed music. We really enjoyed ourselves and would recommend this tour to everyone.

We had a wonderful time. Up to 15 can tour at a time. There were a total of 4 of us in my group. We had fun with our new friends. John was a great guide. He was informative and funny. Our pizza stops offered us a variety of pizza styles. Great fun to be had by all of almost any age. Yes, you need to like pizza, and should take this time to try what you would normally would not order.

The pizzatour was so much fun! I have already recommended it to some of my friends. The tour guide and owner, John, was awesome! He picked some great pizza places and gave us tours and very interesting info on a couple of them. The pizza was great at all 4 places. Thanks to John (and Jim the driver) for a great afternoon of eating pizza!

Jon was just wonderful. Great ambassador to Chicago's sites and the tastes of the best pizza that Chicago has to offer.

We had such a good time earlier this year that we booked a second tour this fall! John picked a couple of different places for us to try this time so it wasn't an exact repeat of the first time that we went. If you enjoy pizza, this is the tour for you!

I thought I knew everything I needed to know about pizza, turns out I was wrong! John was very informative and being able to sample pizza in this was - really helped me to compare styles!

This is the perfect tour for people who don't know Chicago and want a well-guided tour of the history of pizza in the city. John is the most charasmatic, kind, funny guide who went out of his way to make sure everyone had a great time. The kids loved him! It is pricey, and I wouldn't recommend this for someone who knows the city, but if you don't want to fight your way around town and want to try some great pizza, this is worth the money. You're paying for the fun three hours...not the five pieces of pizza! That said, the pizza was delicious.

JOHN WAS AWESOME. I RECOMMEND THIS TOUR FOR ANYONE OH JUST BE HUNGRY. A MUST WHEN IN CHICAGO.
