Seller Description:
Chef, former Philly restaurateur and Penn Grad, Robert Weinberg, along with fellow Tour Director Eric Matzke, are well versed in all things food and Center City. You'll be sure to have a great introduction to Craft Beers and Artisanal Cheeses, in this delicious Old City adventure.
Eric has lived in the city for more than 11 years and has extensive teaching and tour-guide experience. He also completed a number of culinary classes at The Philadelphia Restaurant School.

This entertaining and indulgent encounter features 8 locally brewed Craft Beers and four Artisanal Cheeses in fun, casual hot spots in the heart of Old City Philadelphia! This event is perfect for everyone who loves beer, wants to try some new brews, and is looking for something fun to do.
During this entertaining and delicious 2-hour adventure, a fun and knowledgeable food & beer pro will introduce you to a wonderful, boutique cheese shop and one of the city's best microbreweries.
This great afternoon includes:
- A tasting of 8 superior craft beers representing a vast range of styles, filled with fun facts about how they're made and their unique histories
- A selection of decadent imported cheeses along with a crash course in how cheese is made, what to pair it with, and answer any questions you may have
Not only will you taste amazing food, but we'll give you the chance to meet the owners, and learn what to look for in truly great food.
This adventure begins in one of the city's premier microbreweries, then continues in a hidden favorite among locals, just a few blocks away!
