Seller Description:
Chef, former Philly restaurateur and Penn Grad, Robert Weinberg, along with fellow Tour Director Eric Matzke, are well versed in all things food and Center City. They'll teach you everything you want to know about Aphrodisiac foods in this delicious Center City adventure.
Robert was a co-owner of the acclaimed restaurant, Beyond Measure, on Sansom St. during the mid-90's. He is active with the non-profit MANNA, which feeds homebound people with life-threatening illnesses, cooking in their kitchen part-time.
Eric has lived in the city for more than 11 years and has extensive teaching and tour-guide experience. He also completed a number of culinary classes at The Philadelphia Restaurant School.

Looking for something other than a loud, smelly, over-crowded bar this St. Patty's Day? Ever consider pairing Beer with Cheese? The rich, bold flavors of beers are perfect with cheeses that can mask the subtleties of wines.
Enjoy this 1.5 hour Guided Tasting of four exquisite micro-brewed beers masterfully paired with decadent cheeses by City Food Tours and Chef/Owner of Old City Cheese Shop, Alex Baute.
During this 1 1/2-hour, fun-filled Guided Tasting you will:
- Find out how Irish-Inspired micro-brewed beers and farmstead cheeses are made
- Tantalize your tastebuds with samples of rich beers and hand-crafted cheeses
- Learn all about the principles of pairing beers, wines, cheeses and other foods
After the event you will have time to browse through the shop and purchase items if you wish.
This event is a tasting, not a full meal. Participants must be 21 or older.
