Seller Description:
Chef, former Philly restaurateur and Penn Grad, Robert Weinberg, along with fellow Tour Director Eric Matzke, are well versed in all things food and Center City. You'll be sure to enjoy this Trick-Or-Treat Adventure!
Robert was a co-owner of the acclaimed restaurant, Beyond Measure, on Sansom St. during the mid-90's. He is active with the non-profit MANNA, which feeds homebound people with life-threatening illnesses, cooking in their kitchen part-time.
Eric has lived in the city for more than 11 years and has extensive teaching and tour-guide experience. He also completed a number of culinary classes at The Philadelphia Restaurant School.

Activity Description
This adult version of Trick-Or-Treat in the heart of Center City features hauntingly yummy treats and BOO-ze to make this the best Halloween ever!
Your 2 ½-hour adventure makes stops at 8 of the city’s best specialty food shops and restaurants, including Capogiro Gelato, Joe Coffee, McGillin’s Olde Ale House, Naked Chocolate Café, Solefood, Tavern 17, Tbar, and Valanni Restaurant. Delicious samples at each shop are included!
Treats include:
- Spiced Sangria
- Decadent Chocolate
- Famous 4th Street Cookies
- Pumpkin Martini
- Much, much more
We’ll spend about 10 or 15 minutes at each stop to enjoy our treats. Along the way, you’ll get the inside scoop on a few “tricks” of the trade and the food traditions of the holiday!
In keeping with the holiday, costumes are encouraged, but wear comfortable shoes. We will be walking a total of about 30 minutes.
With BOO-ze and spirits involved, everyone must be at least 21 to participate.
This event, along with ALL of our other Tasting Adventures, is perfect for individuals, couples, and out-of-town guests!
What Is Not Included?
You must provide your own transportation to and from the tour, and gratuity is not included in the ticket price.
Celebrating a special occasion? You may purchase an extra piece of cake or a cupcake as a gift for that special someone upon purchasing your tickets.
