Activity Description
Discover one of the most interesting neighborhoods in Manhattan while tasting & learning about some of the most delicious foods you've ever had from our professionally trained chef tour guides.

On this easy walking, 2 hr. adventure, you'll visit at least 6 different food purveyors & have food or beverages from each.  You'll be outside most of the time, though most tours visit a couple of stops that are indoors.

Our Guides will give you a combination of history about the area and neighborhood mixed with history and information about the foods you'll be enjoying.

While the stops on the tour are small, specialty shops, you will have an opportunity to go inside and meet the owners and chefs and buy, if you wish.

Our tours are generally small and personal, with groups of 10 or less the norm.

Taste a variety of treats from the colorful neighborhood of the Lower East Side such as:

  • Mango, green tea & dulce de leche donuts
  • Greek olive tapenade on crackers
  • Specialty sandwiches
  • Farmstead sheep's milk cheese from Spain
  • Freshly ground and brewed Fair Trade organic coffee
  • Locally made chocolate bon bons
  • Crunchy garlic pickles
  • Freshly cooked poultry
  • Decadent pastries & cupcakes
  • Honeydew sorbet & blueberry white chocolate gelato
Please note that stops vary by day due to varying operating hrs.

If you love people watching, eating, and want to learn about New York's history, then join us for this fun and decadent experience!
