| The leader was very knowledgeable and made the 2 hours fun. I would have liked more substantial food however. The choices of destination were interesting and added to the entertainment value. I would defintely recommend the tour to others but would warn people that they shouldn't plan on lunch, it is more like a snack. |

| I've personally lived in new york for almost 7 years and have never had such an unique and fun experience. I had no idea all the little treasures City Food Tours showed us about the Lower East Side actually existed and I've been down there tons of times. Conrad, our guide, was a great from start to finish... He has a lot of personality and was creative in his way of teaching us about the neighborhood and the food we tasted, while evoking excitement about what else there was to come. I would def. recommend City Food Tours to all my friend and family. I actually am looking forward to doing the Philly tour when I go visit my parent this summer. I hope you enjoy it as much as me.. |

| I was part of a group of two tourists and two locals. The locals in our group found the tour very informative and felt that it really helped them get to know the neighborhood better. As a tourist, I would have liked to stop at a few more places and tasted more items. I thought our guide was very knowledgeable and seemed to enjoy doing his job. |

| We really enjoyed our food tour of the Lower East Side! I had never been to this part of New York and this was a great way to be introduced to it. The tour was very interesting and informative ... and of course, delicious! We learned about food and history particular to this area. I can still taste those fantastic doughnuts from Planet Doughnut and the amazing cheeses from Formaggio's Kitchen. Our tour guide was wonderful -- knowledgeable and funny. I would heartily recommend this tour to anyone interested in exploring the Lower East Side and getting to sample some of it's culinary delights. |

| I found this food tour to have quite a bit of information that was interesting and educational. The guide Matt was engaging and well informed although sometimes a bit over the top with his enthusiam. I will definately take another food tour and will actually be returning to the lower east side to re-explore the area ,and visit the sights and shops that were not open the day I took my tour. I enjoyed all of the history that was reviewed during the tour. Especially enjoyed the Essex Market and all of the venders. Thanks for a great informative food and history tour. |

| City Food Tours offers a worth-while tour of the Lower East Side, that combines the neighborhood's rich history with its emerging gormet food scene. An engaging guide, delicious food - on a beautiful afternoon, it's a great way to learn about a neighborhood that few visitors ever explore. Great for the locals too! |

| I can't believe how much fun I had on this walking tour, and especially how much I learned about downtown eateries. The whole group had a blast. Everything we tasted was delicious and we learned so much about all these different food establishments. There was no more perfect way to spend a Sunday morning. Don't hesitate, sign up now for a tour, you'll love it ! |

| As a native New Yorker, I am sure others like me are creatures of habit and don't stray too far from their local neighborhoods.
This was a great way to shake you loose of that and experience unchartered parts of New York filled with fun, culture and a taste of Old New York.
Our tour guide Matthew Baker was witty, fiercely informative and made the two hours spent on the Lower East Side absolutely delightful.
The vendors and their employees added charm & kindness to the experience.
I am anxious to go on another tour sponsored by the same group & will happily refer the Lower East Side tour to others.
Now I am certain to explore the neighborhood again & only hope it'll be as much fun as the time spent on the tour!
Keep doing what you do! |
