I would recommend the Lower East Side tour, but not on Saturday when Orthodox Jewish establishments are not open. |

Enjoyed the tour very much. If your interest is in the Jewish foods do not go on shabbat, they will be closed. |

Adrienne, our tour guide was absolutely fabulous! She was professional, courteous, down-to earth, and always willing to answer all of our questions. Even though the Jewish establishments were closed due to the Passover holiday, Adrienne still provided us with a great variety food items to sample along with history and information about the lower east side. She even went out of her way to go to the residence on Ludlow St. where my parents lived when they immigrated to the US. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and all the food samples. It was so much more than expected and we didn't need to eat lunch. We highly recommend this tour and plan visit NYC again so we can go on another Food Tour. Thank you for this wonderful experience! |

This tour, with stops at excellent local food merchants around the Lower East Side, was a fantastic way to become excited about a part of the city that I don't know too much about. Our tour guide, Jennifer, was very informative and came across as genuinely enthusiastic about the food we sampled and the fascinating people behind the counter. I heartily recommend this tour not only for visitors to New York, but also those who call it home, because there's always something to discover in our great city. |

I was a tourist on this expedition, however I felt that this tour would be equally if not more appreciated by a local resident of New York. We were exposed to different vendors with wonderful flavors. Even though this is a walking tour, do not hesitate if you feel that your fitness level may not be up to par. The walking is very minimal. |

I enjoyed the tour. I had a 13 year old with me and she enjoyed herself as well. Our guide was very informed and interesting. I highly recommend this tour to others. |

This tour was ok, but not worth the $40. You can probably walk the neighborhood yourself and find all the food establishments. |
