An enjoyable and tasty experience

This was the first NYC food tour we have been on, and we had such a good time we plan to go on more. Our tour guide Susan was informative and enthusiastic. She provided us with just enough information to enhance the experience. The food stops were well thought out, clean and provided high-quality samples. Our only reservation was that the large size of our group made it difficult to enter some of the smaller shops (but our guide brought food out for us when that happened)!

Lots of tasty treats, a small slice of NYC history and some great beer and cheese to finish with. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Nothing better than eating and sightseeing

While I completely enjoyed myself, the title of the tour was a little misleading. The bulk of the tour is pasteries-which were delicious-and you didn't get the beer and cheese until the very end. The tour guide was great and very knowledgeable.

Not Enough Variety

I had a fairly good experience. This is one of the many other food tours I have done in NYC. It was not one of my favorites. As far as history of NYC, or the assortment of tastings that were available, it could have been better. We went to some cool places but we didn't get to try things I wanted to taste. A lot of weird items that I did not care for, such as, dark chocolates and banana bread. The beer tasting was the best part of it, and when we had time to look around independently. It is fun to explore different places around the city! I simply do these tour to learn about the city, and different areas I would not normally go to. Overall I recommend all or any of the tours but this definitely was not one of my favorites.

Great Food/Good History

Really enjoyed our experience! It was a tad heavy on desserts -- wish it had included more of the "cheese and beer" aspect or at least specified in the description how many desserts we would have! Regardless, the tour guide was knowledgeable & moved at a nice pace. We really enjoyed it and would do a similar tour in the future!

The guide could offer more info on each venue and why it has been selected for the tour.

We had made a reservation for dinner afterward, but had to cancel it because we just couldn't imagine eating any more food! The only reason I had to give four instead of five stars is that I never received an email detailing all of the places we visited, as was promised by our guide. It's a bummer, but I only remember the name of the first bakery.
