Our tour, conducted by Susan, was great. We had a very pleasant group of 12 couples and visited 6 stops plus a food market. Every shop was quite delicious, Susan was sincere and enthusiastic while giving snippets of local history and a food education. Contrary to what we thought, we actually found the tastings fairly substantial though balanced more to snacks etc. of course. We enthusiastically enjoyed delicious pastries, freshly made doughnuts, melt in your mouth chocolate macadamia cookies etc. finished off by a great visit to a local bar. It was a fabulous way to spend an afternoon in the city without being too touristy. |

Our tour guide Jonathan was very personable and knowledgable about NYC, food and the locations where we stopped. We sampled delicious pizza, chocolate, cheese and beer. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking to find some NYC gems. Thank you, Jonathan! |

Lots of tasty treats, a small slice of NYC history and some great beer and cheese to finish with. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it. |

Amanda was a friendly and knowledgeable guide. We enjoyed viewing the neighborhood - so different from Times Square - as a walking tour. I would have liked a bit more background about the establishment of the neighborhood and current trends for restaurants in the area. Each food venue was welcoming and I appreciated that we had time to buy a couple of items at each place. Ending at the pub was perfect - our group was a lot of fun! I could not believe the amount of beer and cheese that was offered ... far more than a sampler! The final pub (eek! can't remember the name!) was awesome to our group ... made us feel very welcome! Brenna - sorry we couldn't make it to Company on Saturday ... out time ran out! Hope you had a terrific visit with your mom and sister! |

While I completely enjoyed myself, the title of the tour was a little misleading. The bulk of the tour is pasteries-which were delicious-and you didn't get the beer and cheese until the very end. The tour guide was great and very knowledgeable. |

I had a fairly good experience. This is one of the many other food tours I have done in NYC. It was not one of my favorites. As far as history of NYC, or the assortment of tastings that were available, it could have been better. We went to some cool places but we didn't get to try things I wanted to taste. A lot of weird items that I did not care for, such as, dark chocolates and banana bread. The beer tasting was the best part of it, and when we had time to look around independently. It is fun to explore different places around the city! I simply do these tour to learn about the city, and different areas I would not normally go to. Overall I recommend all or any of the tours but this definitely was not one of my favorites. |

Really enjoyed our experience! It was a tad heavy on desserts -- wish it had included more of the "cheese and beer" aspect or at least specified in the description how many desserts we would have! Regardless, the tour guide was knowledgeable & moved at a nice pace. We really enjoyed it and would do a similar tour in the future! |

We had made a reservation for dinner afterward, but had to cancel it because we just couldn't imagine eating any more food! The only reason I had to give four instead of five stars is that I never received an email detailing all of the places we visited, as was promised by our guide. It's a bummer, but I only remember the name of the first bakery. |
