Didn't meet expectations

Honestly the tour fell short of our expectations. The food was average at best and the portion sizes were very small. Wouldn't do this again.

When they say be there early..BE THERE EARLY!!! We just missed the start of the tour and it left without us, totally our fault. We tried to call the number on our confirmation to see if we could catch up to the tour ourselves and the lady I spoke to was actually a little mean and slightly aggressive. Us not having a a cell phone was admittedly not ideal, but a bit of compassion would have been nice. We ended up catching them and the guide (Dan, I think) was so great! He was very friendly, knowledgeable and confident on the tour and he was so kind to save us some churros from their previous stop. Others on the tour mentioned we had missed an amazing Vietnamese sandwich so we asked him where to go after the tour and he walked us there!! This was so nice and so appreciated. There is no doubt that we would recommend it!!

Our tour guide, Ben, was great. We loved hearing about the history of the area and how it has culterally evolved over the years. The food was very good, although our party did not like fritata-like item we had at the Bakery & Bar. Perhaps if it was warm it would have been better. Other than that, we highly recommend taking the tour.

Fantastic Experience for All Ages!

The tour company and tour guide made our trip to NYC! Our guide, Adrienne, was knowledgable, interesting, kind and pleasant. She made the experience enjoyable! The food stops: pizza, candy, banh mi sandwich, cheese, yucca fries and pastries were enough to keep us full. Make sure to tell the tour company beforehand if there are any dietary restrictions so there is enough time to prepare foods especially for you.

Fantastic Exploration Of Food!

Our tour guide, Adrian, was fantastic. She was very informative, enthusiastic, and friendly. I think it helped that we had a great group of people. Everyone was on board to try new foods and we had a beautiful day, so that didn't hurt! Not being familiar with NYC at all, everything was new to us. We made several food stops. We tried meat and cheese from Spain, cheese from Italy, quiche from France, bánh mě from Vietnam, churro from Mexico, and candy from the US, all in NYC. We would definitely love to try another food tour if/when we return to NYC. All of the placed we stopped were places we would've never tried on our own, and they were all delicious. The information provided on the tour also added to the experience. My husband & I would highly recommend!

Mediocre food, mediocre tour

I've been on many, many food tours around the world and in US, but this has like the smallest portion of serving and least delicious food served during the tour for the amount that was paid and even after discounting the fact that NY is a more expensive city. Disappointed.

It was a very entertaining and enjoyable food tour, great experience with a fantastic guide. The food involved Yukka fries, churros, Vietnamese sandwiches, Italian cheeses, cupcakes, canolis, candy... It's very good value for money and a good way of finding out which places you wanna come back to for some awesome food.

Great tour guide - not enough food

Our tour guide Dan was great - very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the food that we ate on the tour, but thought the portions were too small. For $50, we expected to get bigger portions. The 2 sandwiches were good, but I believe I had 5 yucca fries, 1 piece of candy, 1 churro and 4 small bites of cheese. It just didn't do it for me!
