| We both enjoyed sampling all the foods to be found in/around NoLita (Cheese cake, chocolates, pizza, sweet potato fries,...) Not being "locals" from Manhattan (day trippers from Princeton,) we found it a great way to learn about the area, and have a base to build upon and explore this part of Manhattan. Our guide was friendly, personable, and had a wonderfully extensive knowledge of food; it was like meeting up with a good friend in the city to visit the shops and explore. It was so much fun, We’re now looking forward to taking the other tours offered come spring! |

| We ended up being the only couple on the tour which made it so much fun! We had an excellent tour guide (Laura) who was friendly, upbeat, and enthusiastic. The food we got to sample was very delicious and the only comment we had at the end was that we would change the order in which we ate the food even if it meant backtracking a little bit. Either way, it was a great time and we would definitely do another one of these tours. Thanks! |

| Our tour guide was friendly, thoughtful and informative. We had a great time and couldn't believe how fast time went by. A great range of food, just enough of each to satisfy and everyone in our group ended up buying something extra from each of the places we stopped at.
Highly recommend to anyone looking at doing a food tour of this great historic area of New York. |

| A good way to get an introduction to a specific neighbourhood. We enjoyed this tour in NoLita, it was relaxing and entertaining and it tasted very good. We were only with 4 people and that was good, because the places were small and some were even too small for us to go into. Our only complaint was the balance between sweet and savoury bites: too much sweetness. |

| My mother, sister and I recently visited New York for the first time. We decided to take a food tour to familiarize ourselves with the areas local establishments. We were so delighted with the outcome! The food was wonderful, but it was our guide that really made the tour. She kept us entranced with the area's history, fun facts and information about the food we were sampling. She knew many of the restaurant and shop owners by their first names and was extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of the city. Overall, the food was great and we just had a blast! We'll be back next year! |

| We had a nice time on this tour. Parts were great (Elani's cheesecake, and truffles from the chocolate shop), and others were just fine. I just wish the guide would have given more information/history about the food, neighborhood and the shops. If you want to sample some great food, this is a good choice. |

| What a pleasant experience! I've been to NY city several times but just recently found out about these tours. The tour opened up my eyes to sections of the city I didn't even know about and would not have visited. I've had other people who have visited the city numerous times comment they never heard of such a tour and are extremely anxious to book a tour the next time they are in the city.
Our tour guide was excellent with a pleasant speaking voice and very knowledgeable about the businesses we visited. She had a wonderful rapport with the business owners, who in turn, treated us well.
I recommend they keep the groups small so as not to outgrow the small areas we visited. It also keeps it on a personal level so you can chat with the guide.
Hopefully even more tours will be offered -- they are fantastic. |

| This was our second tour with Laura and CityFoods. The food stops on the Nolita tour were diverse and delicious. The Vietnamese shop was our favorite. Sam's pork banh mi (sandwich) was simply fantastic and reminiscent of food we tasted in Asia. Really... all of the stops were tasty and unique. These tours are a great way to spend the afternoon. Again, two thumbs up! |

| we enjoyed the beginning of the tour - Eileen's, the middle eastern restaurant, the candy shop and the pizza place - but it ended at a spanish store and we were all standing around waiting for samples that we thought we were getting and then the tour guide was like okay this is the end of the tour. So it was weird and awkward. Just thought for the money spent - there would be more samples.
One a brighter note, the tour guide was EXCELLENT |
