| DiBruno's is a true gem-- could spend the whole tour within the confines of this eclectic market! |

| A wonderful way to spend a Saturday morning in Philly!
Robert, our guide, was energetic, funny and intelligent. The tour incorporated some food history and science, and of course, a lot of tasting. Hey -- don't let the history and science part scare you away; Robert made the "cerebral" portion of the tour very interesting and accessible.
First stop was Di Bruno's and the cheese section of the store. In addition to Robert, we had expert cheese monger Josh elaborate about the three very different kinds of cheeses for sampling (the cheese board was passed around multiple times).
Next, we visited Naked Chocolate for sampling of white, milk and dark pastilles and truffles. The tour ended with freshly brewed and iced coffee at Joe Coffee. At both shops, the owners took time out to talk about their products and answer any questions from the group.
An added bonus during the tour -- As we traveled from shop to shop, Robert pointed out points of architectural interest and provided the group with some Philadelphia history as well.
Two (minor) criticisms: a gelato stop wasn't on the agenda (I thought I had seen it mentioned as part of the trip) and the end of the tour seemed a little rushed.
Despite those things, the tour was excellent, and I would recommend it to anyone who likes food and /or who wants to get to know Philadelphia a little better. |

| We enjoyed every aspect of this tour. Our guide, Robert, was as entertaining as he was knowledgeable. It was much more than a tasting; we learned a great deal about provenance, production, and flavor of cheese, chocolate, and coffee. We will definitely take this tour again when we are in the area. |

| Tour guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable!
I live in the city and wanted an activity to do with my mother who lives in the suburbs. She was able to enjoy a short walking tour of the city while tasting some of Philadelphia's finest treats. I was introduced to new spots I wouldn't have tried on my own. |

| This was a fun and educational tour...Good stops and good "tastings" and of course our guide was fabulous! Definitely would recommend it and already have. I will be trying out the other tours offered in the future. We've already been back to one of the stops for more goodies and souvenirs for my out of town visitors. Thanks! |

| A fun and informative way to spend an afternoon. Rob, the guide, was enthusiastic and had a great demeanor. He was knowledgeable and helpful. He wanted everyone to have a good time, and I would say he was successful. It was a Father's Day gift to me which my wife got to enjoy as well. I highly recommend this tour. |

| This tour, guided by Robert, was amazing. I never knew there was so much infrmation about cheese, chocolate, and gelado. Yes, some pretty terrific food was tasted on the tour. But this tour was more about the information behind the food. It gave me so much appreciation for what goes into my mouth. |

| Overall I thought the food tour was fun, but I was a little disappointed by only visiting three places and the lack of food. I felt that too much time was spent at DiBruno's cheese counter. Robert's explanation of cheese was very thorough but seemed repetitious by Dan. For 45 minutes it would have been preferable to visit other parts of DiBruno's or go somewhere else. My favorite of the three places was the tea bar and my least favorite was the chocolate place. I did a similar tour in Seattle a few months ago and liked that we ate at a bunch of different places. At the end of that tour I didn't need to eat and was surprised at how little food was provided on this tour. |

| This tour was very informative and casual. My sister thought this food tasting tour would be a great way to start off her 40th year Birthday as she is basically a food connoisseur. We not only got a tour of the little shops that are the foundation of Philly, but we received historical facts as well which were quite interesting. Although we reside fairly close to Philly in Jersey, we found the historical value of the tour quite interesting. It's amazing what lies just over the bridge. Oh, and the tour guide was great as well, complimenting the tour with his enthusiasm. |
