Seller Description:
Chef, former Philly restaurateur and Penn Grad, Robert Weinberg, along with fellow Tour Director Eric Matzke, are well versed in all things food and Center City. You'll be sure to have a great introduction to Olive Oils, Charcuterie, and Fine Wines in this delicious Center City adventure.
Robert was a co-owner of the acclaimed restaurant, Beyond Measure, on Sansom St. during the mid-90's. He is active with the non-profit MANNA, which feeds homebound people with life-threatening illnesses, cooking in their kitchen part-time.
Eric has lived in the city for more than 11 years and has extensive teaching and tour-guide experience. He also completed a number of culinary classes at The Philadelphia Restaurant School.

Treat your tastebuds to a culinary adventure with this Gourmet Tasting Tour through the heart of Philadelphia!
On this entertaining and delicious 2 1/2-hour tour, you'll sample the city's best artisanal and hand-crafted foods, including: - Charcuterie (the finest in cured meats)
- A vast array of imported olive oils
- Specially-selected wines from all over the world!
You'll explore how the foods are made, meet the culinary experts that prepare them, and learn what to look for in truly great food. If you think prosciutto is the only cured meat, come with us and go home with a whole new list of favorites!
The tour will end at a beautiful wine bar, so feel free to stick around and enjoy some appetizers, drinks, or even dinner.

With less than 30 minutes of walking and more than 2 hours of indulging, this tour is relaxing and refreshing.
What Is Not Included?
You must provide your own transportation to and from the tour.
Bottled water is not included. Guests may fill their bottles at certain sites. Wine will also be served at the third and final stop on the tour.
Be sure to bring extra cash or credit if you plan on eating or drinking at the restaurant at the end of the tour.
