| I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Our guide, one of the owners, was knowledgable, personable, and very understanding of the limitations of our group. The three stops were charming, and a food lovers delight. I would definitely recommend this tour and hope to experience others in the future. | ||||||

| The tour was great and our tour guide Laura was amazing. She took time to answer our questions and helped us decide what to do after the tour was over. The places we went to were sensational. I had made other plans on how to celebrate my 40th birthday, but they fell through. The tour may have not been what I was planning on doing, but it was what I should have been doing. You know the Rolling Stones song "You don't always get what you want but you might just get what you need". Well that was the case with this tour. I highly recommend this tour. I will definitely be doing another food tour with this company. There are some many areas to explore. | ||||||

| I live in New York, and eat out a lot, so I consider myself quite knowledgeable about the culinary treats in certain parts of the city. But this tour showed me multiple beautiful local venues I've never seen before. The food was great, but I would not recommend it if you are not open to culinary novelties. The tour guide was great. She was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable, since she is a trained chef. So if you want to talk about great food as well, she's the right one for you. Me and my girlfriend ended up buying a couple good things at Essex Street Market to continue the culinary adventurous day. All in all a great date, but perfect to do with friends as well. | ||||||

| I took my mother for Mother's Day on the City Food Tour which featured cheese, chocolate and gelato. It was the perfect gift! I highly recommend it whether you're a local or tourist. It's a great day activity, it's unique, delicious and educational. You don't have to be a foodie - you just have to love eating! Robert the tour guide was great, funny and made the day personal and special. | ||||||

| The tour was very enjoyable. Sampling the food (Sam's Bahn Mi were excellent and eating yucca fries for the first time was great) was not the only good thing on this tour. The sights and sounds of this section of Manhattan were very interesting, especially the diversity of cultures. We come into the city often but mainly for shows or other cultural activities, but to see other areas that also make up Manhattan gives one a sense of how great NYC is. And, of course, our guide, Laurie, was very pleasant and knowledgeable of the foods and restaurant as well as the city. | ||||||

| The tour guide was a professional chef that graduated from the Culinary Institute. The tour was informative and fun as well as entertaining. Tastings were great. I look forward to touring another neighborhood in the near future. | ||||||

| Nicole gave a very complete overview of the neighborhood and its residents over the generations. She answered our questions and seemed to have good rapport with the business owners. This simple tasting of the goods from quality small shops made it so much easier to make a return trip and purchase with confidence. The foods were of excellent quality and even the day-old doughnuts were really delicious on our road trip home. | ||||||

| Everything was wonderful. It was a very hot day but the guides did their best to keep us cool. A little too many sweets if there can be such a thing but they did box up cupcakes at end to take to go. Guides were very knowledgeable and helpful not just with info on this area but other areas and tours also. | ||||||

Learn about great NYC dessert spots

| This tour takes you through some great well-known and not so well-known dessert spots. There is only one wine tasting spot (could have used more). They took us to two great chocolate places, ice cream, cupcake and a cookie place. Also had a mocha icy coffee drink. At first, I thought the samples were small, but as we went through the tour, I realized that by the end I could barely eat the cupcake-which was so delicious I pushed on :) The tour guide was great, gave us history of Upper West Side and history of chocolate and wine making. There was an assistant tour guide that went to the next location to get the samples so there was very little wait time when we got to a new location. Some of the locations are small and we spent time waiting outside. This was ok since it was a nice day, but I would avoid going in the middle of winter. The actual walk is around a mile in the whole 2.5 hours so its a very easy walk. | ||||||

| not much of a tour, since we basically just moved around two streets. several stops with tasting though. however it didn't feel like we were all that welcome, weren't exactly invited inside the place whose food we tasted, but rather had to stand outside. the food was ok. the pizza place l'asso was great and the viatnameese deli too. | ||||||

| The food was very good and Laura was very knowledgeable and personable. Nice mix of foods. I especially liked the last stop, Ceci Celi. We lived in Europe for three years and we're always looking for a pastry shop that knows how to make a chocolate eclair the way it's made in Europe! | ||||||

| We really liked the LES food tour, led by Jennifer. On our short trip to NYC, it was nice to go to a neighborhood we wouldn't normally get to and learn about the LES history. The food we sampled was all fantastic, although we did not get to try the pickles because it was a Saturday. One thing to note, other reviewers said they did not need lunch after the tour. I would beg to differ! We only had a few bites of food to sample over the 2 hours & were actually starving when the tour was over!! | ||||||
