| Robert was a wonderful guide for the cheese, chocolate and tea tour. He was entertaining and knowledgable, full of fun facts and food expertise. The foods and teas were the best!! Our group from Wyoming enjoyed the tour immensely. | ||||||

| This is our 3rd tour with City Foods, and they did not let us down. This is such a great way to explore a neighborhood in NYC for locals or tourists. We took our 10 year old niece on this one and she really enjoyed it, and she is a tough customer for sure! Don't hesitate this is a good time for all! | ||||||

| We both enjoyed sampling all the foods to be found in/around NoLita (Cheese cake, chocolates, pizza, sweet potato fries,...) Not being "locals" from Manhattan (day trippers from Princeton,) we found it a great way to learn about the area, and have a base to build upon and explore this part of Manhattan. Our guide was friendly, personable, and had a wonderfully extensive knowledge of food; it was like meeting up with a good friend in the city to visit the shops and explore. It was so much fun, We’re now looking forward to taking the other tours offered come spring! | ||||||

| Jennifer was a terrific tour guide. We were the only people (couple) on the tour. Jennifer arrived promptly and was enthusiastic and knowledgable both about the history of the area and the foods we sampled. The tour was filled with friendly New York establishments along with incredible food stops. Our guide knew all the places we stopped at and knew the owner/operators. This increased the pleasure and experience of the trip because we weren't just stopping in places, but experiencing them with the people who run them. We definitely recommend this tour and especially our guide. | ||||||

| We ended up being the only couple on the tour which made it so much fun! We had an excellent tour guide (Laura) who was friendly, upbeat, and enthusiastic. The food we got to sample was very delicious and the only comment we had at the end was that we would change the order in which we ate the food even if it meant backtracking a little bit. Either way, it was a great time and we would definitely do another one of these tours. Thanks! | ||||||

| The Center City Food Tour is not only a great way to sample delicious treats, it is also an opportunity to learn more about food and even about Center City! Robert was an excellent tour guide, providing knowledge and humor all along the way. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience, and I recommend it highly to anyone who enjoys food and is interested in learning more about it. I recommend doing it with at least one other person. | ||||||

| Our tour guide was friendly, thoughtful and informative. We had a great time and couldn't believe how fast time went by. A great range of food, just enough of each to satisfy and everyone in our group ended up buying something extra from each of the places we stopped at. Highly recommend to anyone looking at doing a food tour of this great historic area of New York. | ||||||

| I would recommend this tour even if you are from the local area (as my partner was). What you experience are the things that may be off the beaten path but are of significant importance to the overall culture of the area. It was very enjoyable, the tour guide well informed and great personality. | ||||||

| While our group leader was very personable, it was like the beginning of a James Michener novel. She gave too much background information about herself and drew out the explanation of cheese processing so long that I was trying to decide if I had made a mistake in signing up for the tour. Once we actually started sampling cheeses, it was fantastic! Perhaps the tour should be shortened by a half-hour to maintain the group's interest. | ||||||

Good tour with plenty of bites

| A good way to get an introduction to a specific neighbourhood. We enjoyed this tour in NoLita, it was relaxing and entertaining and it tasted very good. We were only with 4 people and that was good, because the places were small and some were even too small for us to go into. Our only complaint was the balance between sweet and savoury bites: too much sweetness. | ||||||

Not As Good As Other Tours

| This tour did not compare in quality to a walking food tour that I took with another tour company through Greenwich Village. The tour guide didn't have much information about the Upper West Side or it's history and she didn't have the level of professionalism that you'd expect. The food establishments didn't know we were coming and we were treated like ordinary customers. We waited while the tour guide stood in line to buy the food and pay for it. It really wasn't worth the money. You could do just as well walking up Broadway from 72nd Street on your own. | ||||||
