| First of all, awesome tour guides. Our guide was not only informative, she was very friendly, and not the "I want your money" friendly. She had an understanding of the locales we visited as well as the city in general. The locations visited were fantastic! Going to locations that were featured in the show was really cool, and tasting what the chefs tasted really brought it close. Along the way to "scheduled" stops, there are many detours to take. I suggest to any who do these tours to take some extra cash and to just buy some of the snack you see in other stores. Its a great way to try out NYC. Over all, AWESOME. I am telling all my friends and family about this tour. Great Job guys! Kevin and Stef from Cali. | ||||||

| The tour was fun. It offered several insider tips about the show and getting to meet one of the stars at her restaurant was the highlight! | ||||||

| The food was very good and Laura was very knowledgeable and personable. Nice mix of foods. I especially liked the last stop, Ceci Celi. We lived in Europe for three years and we're always looking for a pastry shop that knows how to make a chocolate eclair the way it's made in Europe! | ||||||

| Although our guide was very friendly and well-intentioned, this tour was a big disappointment. When I think of a food tour, I imagine: 1) visiting a lot of places, 2) discovering places I have never encountered before, and 3) eating a lot. None of these were true of this tour. We visited only three places, none of which was unusual, outstanding, or particularly unique. And, very little food was offered (unless you want to pay extra for it!). One should not go home hungry after a food tour!!! The three establishments (a candy store, a deli with some cheeses, and a coffee shop) were unremarkable. The chocolate shop had exactly what one imagines in a chocolate shop and nothing more and nothing interesting. Give me some truffles with cardamom or chocolate bark with blood orange peel. No, instead it was all vanilla buttercreams. The cheeses at the cheese shop were fine but ordinary: gouda, stilton, cheddar, and brie. And I don't drink coffee! Beyond all of this, most of the time on the tour was dedicated to 1) listening to lectures about how chocolate, cheese, and coffee are made (I can read about this on my own time) and 2) allowing us to buy stuff at the stores. What a waste! The same time at Reading terminal or DiBruno's would have been much better. As a native Philadelphian, one does not learn anything new on this tour. | ||||||

| We really enjoyed our recent Center City tour. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and the places we visited were great! I would recommend it to friends who have an interest in food and finding out about how things are made, where they come from and how to best enjoy them. It's a great way to spend an afternoon walking and sampling various foods and beverages. We really loved the Naked Chocolate Cafe! | ||||||

| This tour was very well organized and simply a delight. In two hours we experienced a broad array of foods from authentic neapolitan pizza to cool vietnamese to sweet sweet chocolate truffles. The places on which the tour will go are not too far from each other, but just enough to listen to the guide describe the history of the area and each location. It's not just the food you're introduced to, but also the owners and operators of each stop. Just a wonderful time for all. | ||||||

| Despite the drizzle/rain, the tour was a good overview of the area through history, food and ethnicity. The other tour members from the Tenement Museum were an added treat. | ||||||

| I had a really good time on the Top Chef tour. Nicole, the guide, was fun and knowledgeable. We got a good overview of several different neighborhoods in downtown Manhattan. The tour made some great connections to the show, but was also fun for people interested in food and NYC. I particularly enjoyed walking through Chinatown and learning about the markets on Grand Street. And, of course, the cheese at DiPalo's! All in all it was a totally worthwhile experience. | ||||||

| My wife and her best friend had a great time learning about the various nationalities that lived in the area and the food that they brought with them. Even though I work in the area our guide, Clarissa, even taught me a few things. She was both insightful and entertaing at the same time. All the food was delicious!! | ||||||

| We had a wonderful (albeit rainy) time with our outstanding tour guide, Calisa on the East Village Flavors of New York tour sponsored by City Food tours. Our guide was extremely personable and knowledgable, having been both a chef and having a degree in the food sciences. Our group of six was extremely pleased with our guide. With regard to the stops on the tour, we would have to say that half was very good to excellent and half was only average. Highlights were the stops at Veselka (A Ukrainian restaurant) and Chikalicious (a dessert stop where, unfortunately, our guides hoped for food was sold out). Average were the stops for an egg cream where the soda fountain was out of order (had to make with bottled sparkling water) and the pizza stop. I would hope that City Food Tours will look to upgrade these stops to make this a more competitive option in the increasingly competitive walking food tour universe. I would encourage all visitors to NYC to take one of these types of tours. We have been to NYC twice for fun and have taken a food tour of the LES (with the Enthusiastic Gourmet- very good) and now the East Village, and have found both to be a fun and informative way to see neighborhoods of the City. | ||||||

| I went on this tour on a Saturday with our guide Nicole. The two of us were the only ones who scheduled for that so it was like having a private tour. Our guide was so knowledgeable and friendly and we were stuffed by the end of it. It was fantastic. I am going to try more of the tours on here. | ||||||

| This was a fantastic experience. My son and I took a 2 hour tour in the NoLita neighborhood. Nicole was very knowledgeable, polite and engaging. I would recommend the tour to anyone. Great food, conversation and places to visit next time we are in NYC. | ||||||
