Good on chef histories if you have been watching the reality show episodes. Focus is on charm of Little Italy and NoLita, with some Chinatown flavors. Would recommend a walking food tour of Greenwich Village to complement your New York taste experience. |

It was an interesting tour and we especially liked going to The Village Tart where we talked to the "top chef" of the restaurant and one of his staff people.
We also liked the knife demonstration and explanation. |

Nicky our tour guide was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about food and locations and the top chef show.Especially exiciting was going to 24 prince and meeting Nicky the season 4 contestant from top chef and owner. One improvement
would be more variety in the samples as we were severed mostly samples of sandwiches. Over all well worth your time and money.Good job Nicky from Steve&DJ |

Our small group enjoyed this walking tour and loved getting to see a different side of NYC along with getting a taste of different cuisines that we wouldn't have tried otherwise. Our guide was very knowledgable and fun and we wouldn't hestitate to do another tour. |

This is a VERY interesting, educational and delicious food tour. I loved the fact that we visited so many different places and tasted such great food. And we didn't just visit food venues, but other places as well. It was great and I would do the same tour again in a heartbeat. Our Food Tour Guide was very, very good! I can't think of a single person who would not enjoy this tour. |

My husband and I took our son (25) and his girlfriend on the tour while visiting him from Kentucky. I read an article about this tour in our local paper in Kentucky. We had a wonderful tour guide who gave us a great amount of history about the area. We enjoyed the food samplings and the fun quizzes along the way. My son and I both enjoy cooking and I knew he would enjoy the whole tour, especially at the Broadway Panhandlers store since he recently received a very nice knife for his birthday. He and his girlfriend ended up scoring the most on the fun quizzes. I would recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys food! |

Our tour guide had plenty of information, but this was not at all like our Philadelphia tour which included more than enough food for a lower price. It was definitely overpriced, with very small portions of food that left us so hungry at the end that we immediately went across the street for a slice of pizza. If I knew that this "food" tour was going to be so light on the food, I would have chosen one of the others. |

This is the first thing we did on our week-long stay in NYC and it was the best! it got us acclimated to the city, the foods, and the subway while taking the tour! On our last day we retraced the steps and spent more time at each spot, just enjoying the foods and the surroundings. Being able to taste at each site and to hear the history around the area from such a knowledgeable tour guide as Susan made the trip. It ws the best investment we made and I can't believe it was so inexpensive. we will definitely take more tours and are already working out how we can get back to do them! thank you for a wonderful event! I took the Top Chef-themed tour with Susan and, as a big fan of the show, enjoyed it very much. We visited a cheese shop in Little Italy, a bakery and Vietnamese restaurant in Chinatown, 24 Prince restaurant, a chef's store where we learned how to sharpen knives, and ended up at a Wichcraft branch owned by Tom Colicchio. Susan was quite knowledgeable about food and about the city, and even got me an alternate snack at the cheese shop (I don't like cheese). Before we started, she polled the group and most were not Top Chef fans, so there were not a lot of references to the show. I still got a lot out of it, though - it was a great way to see the city and try new foods at the same time. Be sure you have comfortable shoes and dress appropriately for the weather. |
