| I was able to get tickets for my girlfriend's birthday and we had THE most amazing time on the tour! It was the perfect length and the guide kept us involved the entire time. It was worth every penny as we were able to try so many delicious treats at every stop. If you have a sweet tooth and a taste for fine wine, then this tour is for you! |

| My City Foods Chocolate, Dessert & Wine tour was fantastic! My guide was knowledgeable and friendly and the foods were delicious. The wine tasting was thorough and each merchant was personable and accessible. Overall, I recommend it to anyone who enjoys sweet treats and fine company. |

| I am a chef at a nearby restaurant and took the tour to get to know the neighborhood a bit better. The UWS is great --- the proximity of Central Park, the Natural History Museum, and the beautiful expanse of the Hudson River make it an ideal walking neighborhood.... and perfect for a food tour. The tour showed me that that these city blocks are an enclave of delicacies waiting to be discovered. Nicole, our guide, was very well informed and even provided a history of the neighborhood and the development of culture in the area. She was fun and upbeat, encouraged participation from the group, and provided in depth knowledge of the fine products we were sampling....amazing cookies, exciting wines, and decadent chocolate! |

| A friend of mine told me I should go on this tour since I consider myself a foodie. I thought I knew most of the best places in the city, but I went anyway, and this tour really wowed me!
The tour opened my eyes to places I'd never even heard about before, as well as to some places that had been on my list to try for quite some time. I can't wait to show my friends all of the places we went on the tour, and to share with them my new-found knowledge of chocolate and gelato.
I had so much to eat, and the guide was very generous with the wine. I got to try so many different types of chocolate and wine, and I left the tour with a completely full stomach! |

| I had no idea that there was so much history combined with scrumptous desserts and wine in the Upper West Side. Our guide Nicole, was amazing. Her knowledge of the neighborhood, the the food, the bakers, and the wine really impressed me. Her attitude matched the quality of the food--wonderful--and I can't wait to take another tour of a different area.
I was on a date with my boyfriend. I think it would be a good tour for a local, a tourist, a single, a family, or a couple. Everyone seemed to enjoy it as much as we did.
The only down side--there were so many sweets I think my heart stopped...very rich food!!! |

| Even though the weather was miserable we managed to have a very good time. It was just the right amount of chocolate to wine to cheese ratio. The shops were interesting and everyone was extremely friendly and accomodating. No on made us feel like, Oh, here come the tourists again. We would definitely recommend the tour to friends. Our guide, Nicole was very easy to talk to and was definitely interested in her subject of wine and chocolate. Nicole adjusted the tour to accomodate the weather without sacrificing any of the fun and learning. |

| My wife and our friend really enjoyed this tour and plan to take the Lower East side one soon. Conrad, our guide, was both knowledgeable and passionate about his subject . He also clearly had an excelent relationship with the merchants we met, ensuring the balance between the needs of the tour and the needs of the merchants was always correct. He was also very generous with his knowledge of the city in general
We would recommend this tour to any visitors to the city just for fun. And, as aspiring New Yorkers we felt it helped us become more like locals faster.
PS what about a Beer tour? |
