Terrible tour guide

I thought the food on our tour was wonderful, but our guide was not. She was rude and a little annoying to listen to - I felt like she was an auctioneer or she worked at a carnival. The food was great, but the tour could have been condensed to about an hour and a half. A quick history of each restaurant was all that was really needed. We learned about 6 or 7 generations of owners at some places which is just too much!

The tour was amazing! Delicious sampling of local cuisine while learning about the history and different cultures that make Cajun and Creole cuisine. Thanks to Candy, our tour guide, I now know the difference between the two. Bringing my mother next year and will definitely sign up for this tour.

Our Tour leader was a lovely older lady who knew and was known by most of the local population. She had a lot of local knowledge and was able to tell us a lot about the various restaurants and the food we were sampling. It was a great way to spend the day

The tour provided much historical detail about each restaurant, but very little about recipe preparation. Food samples were good and guide was pleasant. Several stop were blantant opportunities to push tourist items.

We enjoyed the tour and our guide was a wealth of knowledge. We were able to visit the behind scenes of some of the more famous restaurants within a short walking tour. At each location had an opportunity to sample the local specials. Made it well worth the small price we paid for three hours of fun. I would recommended it to anyone that enjoys food!

I learned lots about NO food, culture and history. Sally was very pleasant, knowledgeable & obliging. Food was small tastes so I was still able to fully enjoy a lovely NO dinner later. Overall a very pleasant way to spend an afternoon

Our group of eight very much enjoyed our food and walking tour of the French Quarter. We got to go inside rooms of restaurants that otherwise we would have been unable to see. We got the basics of creole and cajun cooking. If you enjoy trying local foods and hearing some history, this is the tour.

Our tour guide was excellent! Our fellow tour mates were enthusiastic, and we were in NOLA at a very busy time of year. The restaurants were great at accommodating our group and the food was delicious! I loved the turtle soup and the optional adult beverages that we were able to purchase along the way.

My wife and I are "foodies" and after reading the reviews, we just had to take this tour and we were NOT disappointed. Every establishment we viewed treated us as welcome guests and the food samples were just delicious. The history included fascinating facts about the area in addition to the food discussions. Well worth the money.

Our tour was small and long - covering many interesting landmarks in the French Quarter. I loved hearing the history associated with the cuisine and our tour guide Renee did a fantastic job. I would definitely recommend anyone who loves to eat this tour!
