| Enjoyed this walking tour very much. Bill was a wealth of information about local architecture and history as well as our multiple restaurant stops on the culinary tour. It was a near-private tour with just two of us in the Friday afternoon group! I will certainly enjoy a longer future trip to New Orleans so there's time to patronize a few more of the respected establishments we visited... thanks again, this was a great overview! | ||||||

| Quite formative, the guide was great. I had expected more tastings based on the advertising of the event, but would recommend it to others. | ||||||

| Kelly was a wealth of information. She was fun, enthiastic and very informative. She answered our questions and gave a running commentary as we strolled the streets of the French Quarter. The behind-the-scenes tours of the restaurants was wonderful and gave us a wonderful feel of the massive efforts put into making a successful restaurant or similar business. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting New Orleans - especially if you can take the tasting tour also. Kudo's to Kelly for launching a wonderful, informative, fun activity for anyone interested in food. | ||||||

| This is the best way to learn about New Orleans, its restaurants and cuisine. You get to find out the best "locals" places, the expensive but historically rich places, the food and people. You get to go inside some of the closed restaurants (afternoon tour) and view what they are like (open only for dinner due to Katrina and not yet resuming full hours). The samples help you to explore what you may never have thought about tasting or known existed and should taste. It will definitely peak your taste buds. Unfortunately for us it came at the end of our trip, but... we did go to one of the restaurants twice for breakfast. It has helped us to plan our trip for next year as to which places are definite musts. | ||||||

| Our group of three enjoyed the tour for the history. It was amazing, and we learned a lot. However, for the cost of the tour, the tasting aspect fell somewhat short. The best part was we went back to our favorite restaurants the next few days and enjoyed some fabulous meals! | ||||||

| This is the 2nd time that I've taken the culinary tour. The first time was in January with a friend and I knew that when I returned on vacation with my mother and sister, I wanted them to be sure to take them on the tour as well. Kelly is so knowledgeable about the culinary history and the restaurants. I think that anyone who is interested in the restaurants and food of New Orleans would be thrilled with this tour - especially if they're looking for some great restaurants to try out. | ||||||

| Our tour guide was very well informed. This is a great way to learn about the area restaurants and ask questions about where to go to find exactly the food you want. We were introduced to some smaller places that weren't in any tour book and had some of the best food at the best prices. The history behind the different cusines was very interesting. I didn't feel the need to have done the tasting tour as this tour met all my needs. | ||||||

| Alfred gave us a very informative tour of the restaurants of New Orleans as well as a history of the city and its cuisine which was much appreciated by a couple of Australians. We were lucky to be the only two on his tour that afternoon. He answered all our questions and the tour was highly professional. We now have a much greater understanding of this city and its fascinating food. I am so glad I chose this tour as part of our visit to New Orleans | ||||||

| Kelly, our tour guide, was friendly and pleasant. She was knowledgable and very open to questions. We very pleasantly surprised at the access we had to the restaurants kitchens and private dining rooms. The tour took several hours but the place was not hurried. Wear your walking shoes and enjoy the history and the food. Lari & Mike G | ||||||

| Kelly did a great job walking 8 of us around the French Quarter, giving detailed history in relation to the food & restaurants. Just the behind the scenes at Antoines is worth the price admission. It's a great intoduction to the city and helps to decide where to eat for the rest of the stay. I wish we had time to see more. THANKS Kelly!!! -Sally & Tim Wilson | ||||||

| This tour was great. The tour guide was very knowlegable about the history of food in the area, as well as about the histories and culinary delights of the restaurants visited on the tour. At all of the locations visited on the tour, the staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone interested in the history surrounding the local food of New Orleans. I will note also, be prepared to walk. This is a three hour walking tour, and although there are chances to sit, you should be in decent enough shape to not require a seat. I would take this tour again in a heartbeat. The tastings were a great part of the tour, and everyone of them was amazing. | ||||||

| Wonderful introduction to New Orleans Eating. Best Places to eat and a nice introduction to Creole vs Cajun cooking. Nice pace, great guide, and nothing but good food. What's not to like? Only mistake we made was not doing this first thing in our visit- to know where to go! | ||||||

| This tour was well worth the fee. Visited at least 8 different culinary sites, and tasted food at 4 of them. Only reason not to rate 5 stars is that samples were not available at the 'famous' restaurants. Interesting to see the kitchen, though. Samples were perfect size; felt we'd had a good mid-afternoon snack. Guide was very well-informed, humourous, and quite patient with any and all questions. | ||||||
