| The concept is great, and the samples were wonderful. The tour guide meant well, so I honestly feel bad saying this, but I would not recommend this tour. She was hard to follow, her stories were incomplete, and she had no presence at all. I would have left the tour early if I didn't know that there would be more food samples, which were good. The samples were tasty and generous, the actual presentation just needs to be completely reworked. | ||||||

| Very informative. There's such history to the places themselves and this frankly was far more interesting. I was impressed with the quality of the food, don't get me wrong, but really I think it's really a bonus on what is really an interesting walking tour of the place. | ||||||

| My sister and I enjoyed the tour very much. I live locally in the area, but she has lived away from New Orleans for 50 years. We especially enjoyed hearing about the restaurant's history, but wished we had some history on Petunia's and a tasting at Antoine's. Randy was a terrific guide, very knowledgeable and entertaining. On the whole, it was a great tour. | ||||||

| the roux demo was the best part of the tour. Randy was very gregarious and entertaining but some of the stops need to be enhanced. would really question the value received for the cost. | ||||||

| We are New Orleans natives who moved away. We decided to take this tour because we had relatives recommend it. Even though it rained during our tour, we loved the 3 hours spent with Randy. The historic information was fascinating, and the "tastes" of New Orleans were delicious. We now have a better understanding and appreciation of New Orleans cuisine. | ||||||

| This was a great tour. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and provided lots of extra information. I enjoyed seeing the inside of so many famous restaurants and hearing the history. The food samples were very good, too. I only wish I'd taken this tour on my first day in the city instead of the last. | ||||||

| Our Guide, Randy, was very entertaining and knowledgable about the history and food that definds New Orleans. I would have enjoyed the opporturnity to sample some of the clasics such as Oyster Rockafeller from Antoines. Would also enjoyed viewing one of the famous kitchens. Otherwise this was a enjoyable experience. | ||||||

| My wife and I enjoyed this tour imensely. In general, we are not tour people, but we enjoy eating. Randy was our tour guide and made our experience quite enjoyable! It became very clear from the git go that we were in for a treat. Not only does Randy know his stuff, he shares it with the group so we can get a better sense of what New Orleans cuisine is all about. Woven into the visits to various eateries was the real history of how this area got its different aspects of cuisine. Anyone who wants a good start point of the history of New Orleans should start with this tour on their first opportunity because it's not just about the food, its about the cultures that are the basis of this great city. All aspects of those cultures, from the influences of the Spanish, French, West Africans and Nova Scotians that were exiled from their homes by the English and ended up (along with their mineature lobsters - they look like lobsters but are a lot more work to get meat from) here in the Big Easy and provide both an elegant and simple aspect to their food. This was 3+ hours that gave us a great start to our vacation. Jim Lawrence - Ft. Myers, Florida | ||||||

| Listen to the history of the city while you eat! I'm not a foodie or a history buff, but I loved both aspects of the tour. The only reason why I wouldn't "enthusiastically" recommend the tour is it is a lot of time standing. | ||||||

I enjoyed the food tour.

| I would recommend that Kelly (the tour guide) give the people on the tour a hand out with a list of the places we visited. I had been on a tour in New York and they handed you a bottle of water and a hand out listing the places we visited. It is hard to remember once you have been on the tour the places you visited. | ||||||
