| Good restaurant history provided. Guide was not an enthusastic or engaging person even though he claimed to have been a chef. Samples of food were disappointing but did help us to decide where not to spend our money. One restaurant did not provide a sample. |

| I agonized over the decision to fork over $40 and a precious afternoon in New Orleans to take the Culinary Tour. But we are so glad that we did. The tour allows some behind-the-scene glimpses in to restaurants that are institutions of the city. Chef George offered a historical perspective (food and non-food related) that helped us enjoy the city even more once the tour was over. And the sampling of New Orleans classic foods left us quite full and content. I enthusiastically endorse this tour. |

| I was expecting the history of the food and culture of New Orleans. Mostly, there seemed to be a big push to purchase pralines, rum cake and tip the tour guide! Also, we went to a gelato shop and I'm not sure how a shop that had been open less than a year fits into the culinary history of NO. Having a demonstration of the making of Bananas Foster while sitting at the courtyard of Brennan's would have been more in line with what I expected.
Pretty disappointing.

| We did the French Quarter Culinary and Tasting Tour and although there was historic content and tastings, which is exactly as advertised, in our opinion it fell a little short of our expectations. Maybe it was because we have done similar tours in other cities that far exceeded our expectations. The tastings were fine, some better than others which is to be expected since everyone has their own taste. Towards the end one stop seemed more like an endorsement to buy products at a particular store. The one big turn off we had was that at the very beginning of the tour the guide stated that it's great to have visitors coming back to New Orleans and the locals appreciate that especially when they tip. We felt like that was a blatant call for us to tip her at the end and that just didn't sit well with us. We have done all kinds of tours all over the world and we always tip accordingly when warranted, this request for a tip upfront at the start of the tour just wasn't needed, in our opinion. |

| It was interesting to learn the hisotrory of some the most notable restaurants of New Orleans and also about the various foods of New Orleans (i.e Cajun and Creole) and then to sample some of those foods. Our tour guide was great because she knew so much about the French Quarter besides the food aspect. |

| Our tour was a smaller group with only four of us including myself. Our guide, George, used to work in restaurants in New Orleans and was very knowledgeable of New Orleans history, both culinary and non-culinary. We toured several restaurants, bars and candy stores. We sampled different foods at each location and it was all very good. We even got a cooking lesson at one stop. The tour was advertised as three hours, but since our group was so small we finished in two. Highly recommended. |

| This activity was one of the most memorable of the trip. The history was fascinating and the food was great. Our guide was well informed and entertaining. It helped us to plan the rest of our trip, so be sure to schedule it on the first day. You will not be disappointed. |

| My daughter and I took the tour on November 5 and enjoyed it very much. The tour guide was informative, friendly and very well informed. We went to several restaurants, sampled two dishes at the first one (Antones) which were delicious. All the food was wonderful and our guide's ongoing history class about both the food and the families who established the restaurants was informative and entertaining. The pace of the tour was perfect. We walked some, then either stood or sat to learn about the restaurant and often had a bit of something to eat. Then up and away again. Very, very enjoyable. We loved it.

| The tour guide was Renee and she appeared very interested in the subject matter. I esp. liked how local companies and foods were highlighted. The tour order made sense in terms of food tastes. The only thing missing was a cafe' |
