Our tour guide was absolutely fantastic (Dillon) and was extremely knowledgeable sharing great facts along the way. Overall the food that we sampled was very good and what I had been anticipating for "Creole" cuisine, except for the beef brisket. Beef brisket can be found essentially all over North America and Europe - not very unique to the area. Overall a good experience and something I would recommend to fellow travellers! |

Small portions and small group, but a very informative tour. It was great being able to go behind the scenes in a number of historic restaurants in the french quarter. The food was also delicious. Get the cocktail at the end (Sazerac, costs extra but is worth it). I'd recommend this tour! |

Rene is a great storyteller!!! She kept my interest and I could not wait for the next story. All of the food and drink were delicious. Understanding the culture and history of New Orleans has certainly helped to understand the food. I also really enjoyed the Roux making demonstration - I guarantee you that I will be making Roux and freezing it for later. If you have a few hours, definitely make time for this tour. |

We had a wonderful time with this tour. I liked that the group size was relatively small and we weren't constantly waiting for people to catch up as we walked through the French Quarter. Our guide was delightful. Her base delivery of information was fairly scripted, but she easily went into free-flow as the opportunities or questions came up. She clearly had a deep knowledge of the food and it's history, but also knew a great deal of regional history and of local personalities, past and present. She also offered recommendations for additional activities and locations to visit during our trip. The only word of caution I would add; there were a couple teenagers in our group that were thoroughly bored and preferred to eat potato chips. So if you're kids aren't really interested in experiencing a diverse array of food, maybe find something else for them to do. |

I had previously submitted a negative review because of a scheduled mistake. After my negative review the company contacted me and rescheduled the tour. The tour itself was very nice and I would highly recommend it. The guide Ms. Gonzalez was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and gave enough information without boring you to death. There is quite a bit of walking and unfortunately for us it was raining when we went. So bring comfortable clothes. Overall a very nice tour. |

We took the restaurant tour of the French Quarter. We expected to have some great food representative if New Orleans and we definitely got that. In addition, we were treated to local history and legends which were both entertaining and interesting. Our guide, Sally, was excellent. She was personable and informative. We found this tour to be a wonderful way to be introduced to New Orleans. |

Mary was a terrific guide: Informed, funny, and organized. But it felt too much like an informercial for the restaurants, and considering we'd already paid a fair bit for the tour, something a bit less promotional would be expected. It felt a bit like an hour or two with the timeshare folks in Florida. Wouldn't do this kind of tour again. |

We had Renee as our guide and she was very informative and really knew her history well. The food was diverse and interesting however we did not get to go to the praline place because it was closed and we didn't get anything substituted. But I would highly recommend people that are new to New Orleans and particularly the French Quarter take this tour. |
