My husband and I are from New Orleans and took family members from South Carolina on the culinary tour during Thanksgiving. Anna was our excellent tour guide and took us on our taste of New Orleans. We thoroughly enjoyed all the different historical restaurants and the samplings of seafood gumbo, shrimp remoulade, turtle soup (our favorite), red beans, pralines, desserts. At the start of the tour, we all thought we would probably leave hungry; however, the pace of the tour and the amount of food we were given, we were not hungry. Anna was so personable and knowledgeable about New Orleans. I would highly recommend this tour |

Our guide (Sally) was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about both the food and history of NOLA. A good selection of local restaurants were included on the tour and we got to sample a variety of different dishes. We were told the history of the food and the sample sizes were ample. Highly recommend this tour for all foodies! |

Our guide was very entertaining and knowledgeable about the history of the development of the cuisine served in the French quarter. We were very pleased with the whole experience. We visited some very old family established restaurants and received tours of the interiors. Without these tours you would never know how large some of these restaurants are or the antiques they possess. |

My husband and I started our first visit to New Orleans with this Tasting Tour, and it was great!! Candy, our tour guide, was very entertaining and informative. She gave us an overview of the food of New Orleans with an interesting historical prospective. Our guide had so many interesting tidbits of information, and the food was great! The portions were more than a few bites, and the variety was good. Along the way during our walking tour, we stopped to eat seafood gumbo, gulf shrimp, pralines, muffaletta, gelato, beef brisket, red beans and rice and turtle soup. Our guide gave us a lot of cooking and food information that she put in the context of the various ethnic groups that live in New Orleans. The tour was 3 hours very well spent. We would definitely do it again!! |

Renee is a wonderful tour guide. She weaves in New Orleans stories and history into the culinary tour. The tour includes several samples of traditional New Orleans food to taste, plus tours of famous restaurants and some delightful courtyards. I would recommend this tour not only for anyone visiting, but also for locals with out of town guests. |

We loved the culinary journey we went on in New Orleans. It provided us with an opportunity to visit restaurants and try foods we might not have the opportunity without being introduced to these places. Our guide was knowledgable, shared personal stories about the restaurants and foods we were eating and concluded with a story of spirits, alcohol, not ghosts. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to take an adventure with food. |
