French Quarter Culinary History and Tasting Tour

I loved the food, the conversation, and the company ... Had a great time and would recommend this tour highly ! I will take it again when I come back ...

I thought the tour was well worth the time and money and was the highlight of my stay in New Orleans. The leader was exceptional - very informative, very pleasing personality. I really wasn't expecting so much tasting or I wouldn't have had lunch. My only suggestion would be a list of the places we visited and what they served us. By the end of the tour, there were a couple of places we wanted to go back to but couldn't remember where they were.

My husband and I enjoyed the tour and would recommend it to anyone.

This is the second Zerve tour my husband and I have done (Chicago was our other), and we had a wonderful time!! The tour was exactly what we expected. We had a good feel of what we would be experiencing by reading other reviews. The food was delicious and left us feeling very full! We loved the whole experience!

Leah our tour guide was great. It was a great opportunity to try some of the finest restaurants and experiences in New Orleans at a fraction of cost. She enticed us to want to make a second trip to New Orleans to take cooking classes and hopefully learn how to make on our own one of the wonderful dishes we tried on the tour.

Plenty of delicious tastings led by a great guide with good humor.

Michael, our tour guide, clearly loves his job and it shows. We got so much out of this tour in both delicious food and history. Food stops were outstanding and we really enjoyed touring Antoines and meeting the chef and seeing the Mardi Gras dress museum at Arnaud's. Cannot recommend this tour enough

The guide was very knowledgable about the history of New Orleans and how the different cuisines came to be over time. We enjoyed the different locations we walked to and toured and the food we sampled was excellent.

With Renee Dodge as our tour guide, we spent three plus hours learning about and sampling NOLA Cuisine. Our group of only 18 visitors were led from gumbo to red beans and rice to prahlines. My personal favorite part of the tour was the Roux lesson fron Sondra who teaches at the New Orleans Culinary Class. Renee was full of facts and gave some take-it-or-leave-it information too! She was fun, enthusiastic and spoke in a volume that we all could here no matter where we were. Lots of places to sit while sampling. Excellent!
